THANK YOU!!!! I DO LOOK SMOKIN HOT!!! :lmao: Well, maybe someday.

Can anybody tell me if the Child Swap has the same rules that apply at WDW. Are you allowed to take up to 3 people with you when you use it?:confused3

When did you go in 2006?? We were there in OCT in 2006 too. Reya's first DL trip.

HUH! I'll have to check that thread out. lol.

We were living in Orange County at the time so we went at least once a week. I checked some of the photos I took (I didn't always bring my camera though) and they were dated October 15th and 22nd. When were you there?

Sorry, can't help you with that. Only when once with a child and we didn't swap at all.

I don't know. I've used it before when my kids were little, but back then you could only take one other person with you. So you might want to call and double check. :confused3

Hey! I just caught up and now I am back. :)

I love your plans. I cannot believe that we leave three weeks from today. We plan to do a beach day, too. I really, really want to visit Newport Beach!!

Missed ya!

YAY!! I'm soooo glad to have you back! Hope things are well?!?!

Well if you end up going to Newport let me know what you think.

When are you going to start your ptr? Time is ticking!

ONLY 35 DAYS TO GO!!!!!

DAY 5 ~ Setember 25th

This day Dad and Linda leave us to go back hotel. It’s always a hard time for me when I have to say goodbye to them. Wish we lived closer, especially now that I have a little girl. But at least we’ll have another wonderful memory to share.

On this day we will also separate from my Brother and his family. It will be nice to have a day with just the 3 of us.

THIS IS THE PLAN ((FOR NOW))

7:30 am- Wake up
Have free continental breakfast at home… just eat something small to tide us over until an early lunch.
9:00am - Leave for Hollywood

Go to the Chinese Theatre/Walk of fame ((hopefully arrive around 9:45)) ?!? Not sure what the traffic will be like.

Can’t wait to meet some of the crazy characters they have hanging out there!

Then we’ll head over to the Kodak theatre to look around and maybe do some shopping!

After our sightseeing we will head somewhere for lunch. Not sure where we might go yet?!? Either The Disney Soda Fountain or I found a website for this cool restaurant called UWINK over in the Kodak area. You order your food via touch screen at your table where you can also play video games while you wait for your food. A guess a little monitor pops up in the middle of the table?! Looks interesting.

If we don’t go to the Disney Soda fountain for Lunch will we DEFINITELY head there for desert! It’s a MUST on our list!

After desert we will probably head back towards Anaheim. I want to be back before Rush Hour hits!

DAY 5 to be continued……

Your plans are great. I am considering another trip in a year or two just to visit California along with DLR.

I think you have to pay those people to get pictures of them/with them. I could be wrong though.

Does anybody know if you can make reservations for ESPN zone in Downtown Disney? :confused3

Sorry, I've never eaten there, but here is their number: (714) 300-3776

And their website might have some info: http://www.espnzone.com/anaheim/

Have you heard much about the food there? The menu sounds good, but I wonder what kind of reviews it gets.
I'm just wondering because my son would probably love it there. I was thinking of doing it during our October trip, but since we have one in Vegas, maybe I will wait and take him there for his b-day in December.

We have one here in Denver and it's pretty tasty. I was checking out the menu and it has lots of fatty yummy looking food. Something I will most likely want to enjoy after being on this diet for so long. :lmao: Anything loaded with cheese sounds so good right now. ((I'm not allowed to have cheese on my particular diet))

We also ate there when went to DL back in 2004. It was nice because there was an hour wait but since there was only 2 of us we got to be seated right away. Won't be the case this time around so I hope we can make reservations. Plus I know the guys will love it, especially my husband. The ESPN junkie that he is.

I'm not sure we can work it in on our October trip, but I will keep that in mind for my son's b-day. And something cheesy does sound good right now!! LOL

My brother and I used to take each other there on our birthday's when I still lived in Orange County. The food was always pretty good though the prices can be a little steep.

I'm not sure about the reservations. Downtown Disney is a little like the WDW restaurants where a reservation doesn't always equate to immediately being seated. ESPN zone would like to get you checked in so you can then hit the bar, shop in the gift store or play games upstairs. There is plenty to keep you busy during the half hour to 45 minute wait we usually had.

If your son loves sports you can't go wrong! You have one in Vegas don't you?

You're right there is plenty to do. I just looked on their website and it looks like you can call ahead for priority seating! :woohoo:

 So I thought I would give you all a quick little update on my trip planning! .......

Well I was going to add a day to our vacation and leave a day early, except my SIL called me yesterday to tell me she's having my neices birthday party on that day! I being the great aunt that I am decided to cancel my plans so I can make it.:rolleyes1 ((Even though we'll be at Disney Land to celebrate her actual birthday)) My SIL said she's going to do a Disney Princess theme, princess: so it should be fun, and it will get us all excited for our trip the following day. I'll be sure to post pictures!

BUT....... There is a
((SMALL))chance that we will still add a day to our trip. I put in for some Ellen Degeneres tickets and if by some miracle I receive said tickets then we'll add a day! It would be for September 29th which is the day we were going to head out to Las Vegas! So everybody keep their fingers crossed for me! I've been trying to get tickets for her show forever now!

I'll let you know how it turns out!:goodvibes

Yes, there's one in the NYNY hotel. I hope you get your Ellen tickets!! :wizard: That would be great!

Oh, and the Princess party sounds like fun. princess:

I have been reading your PTR off and on all day. I am looking forward to hearing more!

Your DD is a doll, by the way!:goodvibes
