We ate many, many years ago at Ohanas and are going again in a few weeks. I don't know if it had the same menu, but with the family style, do you get to try the different skewers or can you only choose one? I am looking forward to going again!

This was copied off of the menus at allearsnet.com, I believe it is still accurate. They also sell desserts separately. At the end of the meal is complimentary pineapple spears with caramel dipping sauce. And yes, you get your choice of any and as many skewers as you want. Enjoy!

Starters

Stir Fried Green Beans and Onions
Salad with Honey Lime Dressing
Shrimp and Vegetable Wonton
Honey Coriander Chicken Wings
Stir-Fried Rice

Skewers

Grilled Tiger Shrimp
Marinated Sirloin Steak
Mesquite Seasoned Turkey
Barbecue Pork Loin
Dipping Sauces: Fruit, Peanut and Cilantro Ginger

Thanks Heather, I am drooling already!

When we were there for the first time in May, we tried all the different "skewers." However, our server never offered us a dessert selection. He just dropped off the pineapple and that was it. (I don't think he was either that good or that experienced as I had to get his attention a couple of times just to get another skewer even tho he would serve the table right next to us. He'd just walk on by us without nary a glance in our direction.)

'Ohana features a family style menu, so you can eat from all the skewers- pork, turkey, steak or shrimp. If there's something you don't like you can just tell the server (like no red meat, etc.) so you won't get that one. If you have a picky child that will not eat anything but the turkey one, you can just get that. Also, you can get kid-fare for a really picky child - I believe macaroni and cheese and chicken fingers are offered. (I think they get that stuff from Kona).

Don't forget you also get pineapple bread, salad with honey lime dressing, fresh green beans, awesome fried wontons,, honey coriander chicken wings and fried rice as your sides/appetizers whatever. They are the best part of the meal for me! Oooh plus the three dipping sauces! I love the peanut one!

They give you fresh pineapple and caramel to dip for dessert, but you can order other desserts if you have room.

I love it! Plus, they have the BEST pina coladas anywhere!! :cloud9:

I love 'Ohana!!!

First, I must be incredibly slow. In the time it took me to type my first response, THREE people posted! lol!
However . . .

When I went the server ( an older gentleman who worked there for something like 15 or 20 years and *loves* it and it shows! He was the best server I've ever had in Disney!) took us on a tour of the room, particularly the dessert showcase (with the display desserts) and the fire pit where the skewers are prepared before serving us pineapple bread and showing us to our window seat (with view of Cinderella Castle! :cloud9: ) I'm pretty sure you're supposed to get that little tour before you even get seated.

I'm sorry that your server wasn't so good. Sometimes a good/bad server can really change your experience!

I also wanted to point out that if you prefer your steak not well done, just ask. They will prepare some to your liking. We also usually get extra pineapple for dessert. Can't wait to go in about 2 weeks for our anniv. and then the next night CG!

Good point! So many people come back and complain about how their meat is cooked but don't send it back! Just ask if you would like your steak rare and they will do a skewer of it for you ;)

Thanks for all the yummy info everyone! As you can see, it won't be too long before I am there!

I am doing Ohanas for the first time, we had ressies in 2003 and never made it (couldnt get kids out of DQ) I am really excited about it though.. Cant wait!! 27 more days
