Just trying to plan my day at Magic Kingdom with dinner at Ohanas, would be nice to make it back for Wishes at 8 pm,( or even Spectro at 7) so what time would I need a dinner res`,do they seat you right away, how much time to eat there and to make it back to MK. Right now I can get only 5:10 or 6:30, one seems a little early and one seems a little late.

5:10 is not too early!

We eat there every trip and have never been able to get in and out in under 2 1/2 hours.

Yes I thought 5;10 would be better, but then again, I could take the 6:30 at Ohanas, and then we would be in a good time to watch Wishes from the restaurant or beach...which i've heard is nice, but never done it...hmmm the decisions..

Don't count on getting a window seat at 'Ohanas. On on trip, we were able to watch Wishes (front/centre at window, awesome!), on a more recent trip, no view at all. Not a big deal, but just thought it would mention it to you.

I'd pick the 5:10pm, then if you're out at a decent hour... you can make the decision to head back to MK or to watch from the beach.

I agree that Ohana takes forever. We have always had to wait for our table. If you take the 5:10 ressie, you may have a chance at getting in quickly, since they open at 5pm, I think.

I would take the 5:10, the few times I have been there our table has never been ready and we waited sometimes 15 min or more. Ohana is not a quick in and out meal. and you have to give yourself time back on the monorail etc.

We ate at Ohana last week and had a 5:45 reservation. I checked in around 5:30, and we were seated around 6:15. We were able to eat and dash to the MK in time for the MSEP at 9 (with time to get a good spot, buy popcorn, and go to the restroom!) We then hopped on the monorail after the parade, headed back to the Poly, and were on the beach with cold drinks in our hand by the time fireworks started at 10.
