I have ressies at O'Hana's at seven pm on May 1. The fireworks start at nine pm. I'm hoping this was a good time to have enough time to eat and catch the EWP and the fireworks? Will there be too much time between dinner and the fireworks? If so, can you recommend something to see or do in the meantime?

Also, we'll be headed back to the AKL afterwards. Are there any ferries going across the lagoon around fireworks time? How long would it take to take the ferry or monorail back to the MK then catch the bus back to the AKL (including waiting times). I'll be travelling alone with my DD4 and she'll be pretty tired by then. I'm thinking of taking a taxi from the Poly...would it be safe for myself and my DD if we're travelling alone?

I would finish your dinner and go out and watch the EWP and fireworks from the beach. You *should* have enough time, but I don't think you have time to anything else but look around the lobby, at the most.

And I would definitely get a cab from the Poly - the valets will call one for you if there's not one there already. I think it's totally safe.

hi, i agree, two hours is a good amount of time to be seated, eat, and go out to the beach. you shouldnt miss any of it, and if you are early, walk around the resort.. it's so beautiful, or just find a lounge chair and relax while you wait.

thank you, i'm so excited! I tried to book at the Poly for our vacation but it was all sold out the last week of April except for club level so I wanted to at least get the whole fireworks from the beach experience after eating from O'hana's :)
