That they don't have the shrimp skewers anymore???

Do they still have shrimp on the skewers???? It was my favorite thing at OHANA......

They do not have the shrimp skewers anymore, my DH misses them also. They now give you peel & eat shrimp. They are not bad, but I know it is not quite the same.

I've heard that we can get a kid's menu if needed. Has anyone gotten one or know what's on it?

My DD got a peanut butter & jelly sandwich. I do not remember what else was available, sorry.

I'm so pleased to seeing people raving about Ohana's. It's a DW treasure! We always start our vacation with the character breakfast. And the dinner is just as good, if not better! We never leave without eating at Ohana's!

Come on grumpy, not everybody is raving... But IMO, we are seeing the beginning of the decline of a once fantastic restaurant, but hey, that's just me.

We were there on Valentine's day. I have wanted to go for several years and never seem to make it. I was determined to get there this year. It was great!! The food was terrific. The views were amazing. My 6yo DS was a little nervous at first about the games, but he loved the limbo. I have to say though we did have the worst waitress EVER!! My husband is a GM at a restaurant at home. He has been in the business for 25yrs. I thought he was going to strangle her before the end of the evening. But... he did not let the service sour him on the whole experience. I have heard him recommending O'hana's to several people, already. Plus I scored the recipe for the bread pudding before we left that night. We made it 3 days after we got home!!!

can you share the recipie with the rest of us????

Seriously pirate, I would say that this is an overall positive thread promoting a great restaurant at Disney. And yes, with the exception of 2 maybe 3 post, up to this point, just about everyone is "raving" about Ohana's. Yes, I wish they still had the shrimp skewers too as many old Ohana lovers do, but just because they don't I won't give my place up at the table. I will be more than happy to take your place since it sounds like you won't be making ADRS!

Oh, I agree grumpy, and yes you can have my table. There are still too many great restaurants at WDW to waste my time and money on a now (IMO) average one. I miss that skewered shrimp sooo much I'm trying to make it at home, but I can't find Chili Paste in my local grocery!

For every positive review, you are going to get a negative review. Just go, and try it yourself. I personally didn't enjoy it as much two weeks ago as I have in the past, but that is because I have something to compare it to. Someone new off the street may find it to their liking.
