ohanas 9:45 reservation

Hi everyone I am trying to book ohanas for our trip 11/28-12/04 and the only availability i am coming up with is 9:45 or 9:50 has anyone had this late of a meal there was wondering if food/service would be lacking this late thanks

We had a 9:30 reservation before, and didn't think the food or service was lacking. If anything, we were less rushed to eat because there was no one waiting to be sat! We enjoyed it.

Actually this might be a good time. We usually try and book O'hana later so we can watch the fireworks. you can ask for a window seat but if they don't have one the kids can get up and watch them.

I have read somewhere on these boards that the entertainment and games stops at 9:30pm or so, which may be a problem if you have kids who were looking forward to that. You may want to look into that or maybe someone else will chime in. Hopefully, I'm wrong about that.

Initially, we had a really late booking, but I kept checking and after a few weeks came upon a 7pm, so you still may be able to move that up. Keep an eye on the cancellation thread for the month you are going- I got Le cellier that way. Cancellations happen all the time.

We had a late reservation here once. We still had entertainment. The service was pretty slow, but I'm don't really think that's unusual at Ohana.

Try to check in as early as possible b/c that night we did wait for a good 15-20 minutes to be seated and we were starved by that point.
