O'Hanah breakfast 10:50am... good time?

I was trying to get Chef Mickey's and couldn't but was able to get Ohana for 10:50 am. Will all the food be cold at this time or will they still put fresh food out?

I know nothing about the character meals as this is our first trip. Is this a good time to get alot of character interaction since it's later in the morning?

You always get fresh food at WDW. The character interaction tends to be better at opening and closing. Less people=more time with characters.

Unlike a buffet, the food at 'Ohana is brought to your table, family-style. There is less variety, but it is still is all-you-can-eat, but it will be made hot & fresh and brought to your table so it shouldn't matter when you arrive. You can ask for more of everything/a favorite if they dont bring enough the first time. The characters go from table to table, signing autographs and posing for photos with the kids.

BTW, they have a great dinner here, but without the characters.

We love O'hana. It was the best meal we had on that particular trip. The service was great and the character interaction at a later time is much better. I think we were there around 10:30am and the characters came around 4 or 5 times. We only had them 2 times at ChefM's.

I agree with this post. We think the character interaction is even better at the later seatings for Ohana's breakfast. Be prepared to wait a little though when you check in. We always have to wait here at least 15-20 minutes (not too bad, but it is always the place my boys decide to be impatient!).

I have found that O'hana is pretty close to on time. The only time we waited past our ADR time was last year, our ADR was for 6pm....prime dinner time....and we only waited 10 minutes past our time.

When we have had breakfast there it was right on time. You do have to remember that the ADR is only a spot in line for a table, it's not a guaranteed time to get a table.

The only thing i find with late BF at off site, is you will get to the park really late, unless you plan on going to MK for 9 then leaving at 10. It is kinda awkward to planning off site meals.

Just had breakfast at O'hana's on Monday. We checked in 10mins. early for our 9:30 ADR. There were so many people waiting they had run out of pagers. The place was a zoo. Host said many people were just hanging out at their tables and they were unable to clear them and bring in more patrons. We ended up waiting 35 minutes past our ADR. A total of over 45 minutes. My husband went down to Capt. Cook's for breakfast, (we were staying at the Poly) and went back to the room to clean up for check out.

Not a great way to end our vacation.

I've done both late and prime times and have not had the experience of waiting to long for my table. The longest wait I can remember was about 10 minutes past the ADR time.
