We had at Ohanas for my birthday on 10/28. I waited till the last minute to make a reservation so we had 9:05. I had actually thought it would be cool to see the fireworks from our table and they were at 9:15. the place was packed. We checked in at 8:30 and were told they were running half hour behind. I figured we wouldnt be set until closer to 9:30. at 5 after we headed down to the beach to see the fireworks and had just sat down when our pager went off so we raced back in.
We were seated close to the windows seconds before the fireworks. I had a Pina Coloada and they brought the salad and chips, which I didnt really care for. I ate a lot of the shrimp since my boyfriend isnt a fan. Just thinking about the shrimp makes me want some right now. The wings were also very good.
The potatoes were very good. They didnt look that way, but they were yummy. I also enjoyed the veggies. Our first batch of meats came, pork and steak, the steak was tough and undercooked, I didnt eat it, but the pork was good. It took awhile for the turkey and sausage to come, but they were good as well. The pork was the best though. I was sooo full at the end I barely had room for the bread pudding which was to die for. It was great. I thought I would miss the pineapple, but this was so great.
They brought a cupcake and our waiter even thought it was 10 grapped a few more and sang. We brought the cupcake, which was good, and some of the leftover dessert back to our hotel and ate it a few days later.
Overall Ohanas was awesome. I just wish we could have gotten in a little earlier, but I shouldnt have wait till the week before to call.
