My granddaughter just loves Pluto so we want to a character meal. In your opinion which one is better? There will be 4 of us. The kids are 11 and almost 10. They are both celebrating birthdays one 4 days before our trip starts and the other 2 weeks after our return. I have been to Garden Grill before but my granddaughters have not.

We did Garden Grill last September for the first time and the characters were excellent! They all came by our table 2 or 3 times and there was plenty of time with each one.

We actually loved both. I don't think you can go wrong with either one! If I were forced to pick though...I'd probably choose garden grill

O'hana! I loved the breakfast food food...it's served family style, and seemed fresher to me than most buffets. The bread they serve in the mornings and the Lilikoi juice are wonderful. The character experience is unique, since it has lilo and stitch, and Mickey in his hawaiian getup. Also if I'm remembering correctly, Pluto Wore a lei. Loved that stitch had a PP photographer with him! That's rare at character meals. The other characters didn't have one, but the interactions were still great and the maraca parade through the restaurant made my 2-year-old's life! We love O'hana for both breakfast and dinner but the breakfast experience was one of my favorites

I've done both O'hana for breakfast and the Garden Grill for supper. Both were great. At Garden Grill you will probably see Pluto, as well as Farmer Mickey, Chip and Dale several times while you're eating since it's smaller than O'hana. But breakfast is good at O'hana and you'll see Lilo, Stitch and Mickey. You'll be happy with either one of these. Have fun.

Agreed either has great character interaction, you just really need to decide which meal you want. A time if you do Ohana...book one of the later times and make it brunch. Have a granola bar or something to eat if you need it in your room but by booking the later time, it probably won't be as busy and it will be more relaxed.

We much prefer Ohana, especially for the price. The Ohana breakfast is yummy (love the sausages!), and we also like the atmosphere at the Poly. We've been there three times, and have had great interaction with Pluto each time. The parade is also fun for little ones.

We've been to Garden Grill once, and wouldn't go back. It was the most expensive meal that we had during our trip last May (about $40 per person for adults) and I felt that the food was just ok - definitely nothing special. We did see Chip, Dale, and Mickey a couple of times each, so that was nice, but Pluto skipped our table entirely! He walked right by once without stopping, and we asked our waitress a couple of times, but he still hadn't made it to our table well after we were done with our meal. Our waitress sent a character handler over after dessert, who said he should be there soon, but he still hadn't come by 15 minutes later, and our toddler was getting tired and restless, so we just left. This doesn't seem to be the norm from the reviews on here, but we were definitely less than thrilled by the experience.

Going solely off of character interaction, I would definitely say Garden Grill. The characters come to your table multiple times and with how the tables are set up, you end up getting some great one-on-one time that just seems much more private. 'Ohana is a lot of fun with a more lively atmosphere, but the character interaction there has never compared to Garden Grill for us. Personally, I love the food at both restaurants.

Been to both, you will get more interaction at the Garden Grill
