I am wondering how good Ohana' for dinner is? I have never been. Any advice would be great - thanks

We love it. We've been to DW twice and eaten there both times. It's alot of food, but we really like it! We took my inlaws the 2nd time and they enjoyed themselves too. If you have kids, they can either eat what they serve automatically, or they can order anything that Kona has next door and can have as much as they want (according to our server last time we were there). They also do a Conga line for the kids that mine found to be fun.

I have never heard of the kona thing before. We have been there 3 times but it could be true???? We love both restaurants just this is news to us? I will say we are so happy that the shrimp is back!!!!

Hi we were at OHana's in July and had terrible food and terrible service. We had heard so much about it and really were looking forward to it. If you do book Ohana's plan on spending about 2 1/2 hours to dine. The waitress was not busy but never seemed to be around she only brought one serving of each dish. The meat was not ready all at once so we had to wait about 20 minutes in between meats. I think they do it on purpose so that you either you get tired of waiting or you get full from just sitting there. Our bill was $95.00 for three people so not worth it. Hope this helps.

We found the food to be of exceptionally poor quality. We will not go back.

I've been there twice, but the menu changed slightly since the last time I was there, so I'm going again to try the new menu items, which fortunatly for me, replaced items I don't ming being gone, though I will miss the shrimp, though the fact that they still have shrimp is good enough for me.

That being said the two items I love, the potatoes and bread pudding, are both still on the menu, and hopefully they'll stay.

The service has also been good both times I've eaten there. The first time it was average, nothing bad, but nothing to commend, but the second time I had the friendliest server ever.

I went to Ohana's in November and we thought the food was good..my kids are 9, 7 and 6 and they felt the theme was for toddlers and would not participate in the conga line or games. I thought they would participate and I read they did a nice job entertaining the crowd..my kids actually found it annoying and I can not lie so did my husband and I..if I hear "shocka cousin" again I may hurt someone...but in saying that... I found the food to be good. Enjoy your trip! ;)

My family loves it. The food is good and plentiful, its entertaining and the view is great.

We were at Ohanas on Sunday, Jan. 27th. It was the best meal of our trip. Everything was great. It was so much fun to try so many different things and pick your favorites and have some more. The bread was delicious! The dessert was AWESOME. The whole meal was so much fun. I know I will have a great memory of this meal for a long time. My family of nine loved it. You won't be disappointed!:thumbsup2

Can you remember what meats and sides they brought?

What was the dessert?

It's our favorite restaurant on property. We have an ADR March 29th while we are in town for Wrestlemania

We just returned from WDW and ate at O'hana's for the first time. It was awesome!! The hostess brings a loaf of coconut bread to the table. Then, you are served a green salad w/ honey lime dressing, fried pork dumplings and bar-b-que glazed chicken wings. Then, you are served scalloped potatoes and green veggies. Then, you are served skewers of turkey, pork, steak and shrimp. All fresh and delicious!! Our server kept offering more food, but we were stuffed!! Then, the dessert is bread pudding w/ vanilla icecream and banana foster sauce. It was delicious and a must do for future trips!! :thumbsup2

Also, our 8 year old loved the hula lesson, parade and coconut races!! :cool1:

We were at WDW in June 2007. We had dinner reservations at 8:30 and got a table next to the Windows. Our server was very funny and interacted with my daughter a lot (she is 4). She loved the coconut races, dancing, etc. An extra bonus for us was when the fireworks started at Magic Kingdom we had a front row seat...which my daughter loved!! The food was great! We are returning to WDW this June and have already made our reservations for Ohana.

We ate there in December and January and had a great time each visit. It is one of our favorite places to eat.

As for the meats that someone asked about, the skewers were steak, turkey, pork and shrimp. They brought out chicken wings on the side. They were in the process of changing the sides so those probably won't be the same now.

We had dinner at Ohana last month. The food and service were terrible. The service was the worst we've ever had at Disney. We will never return to this restaurant.

We have visited ohana many times and food quality and service were excellent! However, on our visit this past Sunday night we did not receive that great attentive service that we have in the past

Several seconds of food items that were asked for were never received and with a server and an assistant you would think that between the 2 of them service would be above average!

The food quality was great as usual and we were able to watch the Wishes fireworks while eating

So much for another memorable experience:confused3
