Ohana/picky eater question

Hello everyone. We love Ohana. We have a very picky eater with us. He likes the meats but will not eat any of the sides. If i ask the waiter would i be able to get substitutes like mac and cheese and/or fries for him to eat with the meats? thanks so much for your help!

Is the picky eater a child or is there a child in your party? Ohana will usually get a kids meal. I think they got our son chicken nuggets and fries. No one touched the chicken nuggets (our son will eat all the food at Ohana) but DH ate some of the fries.

I was wondering this too... DH will not eat anything at Ohana's but he would eat mac & cheese, pizza or fries. I'd be willing to pay the obscene amount of money for him to be with us at this meal but not sure if they would cater to him...

We went in October. My daughter is considered an adult at Disney but is incredibly picky. Won't eat most of the stuff on the kids meal. All restaurants were incredibly accomadating and brought her out kids meals to eat with whatever we were eating. Ohana was her favorite. The brought out family style(for one teenager) a huge platter of double decker grilled cheese and I can't remember if it was french fries or mac & cheese. She loved it. She was able to eat the regular menu noodles and her special plate.

I'm also a picky eater. They brought out chicken nuggets and fries for me. They also kept asking if I wanted more and would bring me more.

thank you so much for your responses!! this is great news! my dd fiancee is the picky one . he will only eat the meats wings bread and desert at ohana. if we can get him fries he is willing to have dinner with us again there next trip. thanks again!!!

I found anywhere we ate that had table service to be very accommodating. We had the Ohana breakfast but DS was only a fan of the waffles. Hes also a picky eater. They made sure he had plenty of waffles and POG.

Yes, with picky eaters (as my son is) they will acommodate you with any foods they have available that kids may like.
