Havent been to either and I thought we could go before MNSSHP-

Love to hear your opinions!

or if you have another pre party suggestion I am happy to hear it :sunny:

i would opt for kona as you are going prior to MNSSHP. you just might have a long wait at ohana even w/ADRs. if you are wanting to try ohana save it for an evening where you will not be rushed. enjoy!

Kona is one of my very favorite WDW restuarants. (Mmmmmm...I am craving the mahi mahi right now!!!) That being said, we prefer to grab a faster meal at Pecos Bill's during MNSSHP. If you go right before the party starts or right as it is beginning, PB's is not crowded at all. MNSSHP goes by so fast that I don't like to risk missing any of it.

I like both, but If I had a choice between the two, I would pick Kona. Make an ADR or you will have to wait for dinner. I have a review of the Kona on the review board with pics. We love this place. It is our number 1 choice right now, we are hooked!!!!!!Lots of selection to choose from. Steak, fish, noodle dish. Desserts are wonderful there! :thumbsup2

I asked this very question before making ADR for our May trip. More people seemed to favor Kona, but I still couldn't decide so we did both. Kona was definitely better. The food was great. O'hana was just so-so. Next May we'll certainly go back to Kona but will skip O'hana in favor of something new.

Wow looks like the winner is Kona! I will try to get an early ADR! DOnt want to miss any PARTY party:

Thank you so much for responding.

we loved the old menu at Ohana' but since the changes no hurrying back for us. I am looking forward to trying Kona next trip and they have the wings. Also sticky wings at Concourse steakhouse. :thumbsup2

Thanks everybody
Was trying Ohanas for the kids (dessert sounded good too) but there are so many Kona lovers out there that have me convinced to give it a try. I also got a more favorable time before MNSSHP for Kona. I have my menu printed out and think I will make notes next to the "well reviewed" dishes.

I am officialy out of control with the planning....somebody HELP! :Pinkbounc

I'll second this.

Both are great--two of my favorites.
