Going on a quick weekend trip with Dh (no kids :cool1: ). We wanted to try to eat one dinner on property. Ohana or Boma which one would you pick? Why?

Thanks so much

Boma is my favorite restaurant on property and I make a point of eating there every trip. They have a lot of healthy options and while they do have some exotic choices (if you call humus or couscous exotic) they also have normal food for the less adventurous eaters. Their press pot is also my favorite coffee at WDW.

While Boma is my fav....I picked Ohana for you....

Being there for a quick trip....I think looking at the Castle in Ohana.....really gives you a Disney Vibe.

You can't go wrong either way though.....Pick both;)

I chose Boma for you because I would want to do 'Ohana with my children, so you can do it with them on your next trip (you made it sound like you might have kids you're leaving at home at least.) Also at 'Ohana sometimes you end up at family tables with other families I think? Plus Boma food is more experimental I think. If you do choose 'Ohana, I would try to get a late ressie

Thanks so much for all the replies. I was able to get an ADR for Boma at 7:30 in October.

Thanks

I think Boma was a good choice. DH and I did both, and did not like Ohana at all for dinner (I know many would disagree). We loved Boma though, especially the Bobotie(sp?) and prime rib. I also love love loved the hummus dips, yummo!:goodvibes

'Ohana!

We ate there again last week and it was better than ever!

They haved added noodles, dumplings and grilled shrimp to the menu in addition to the hawaiian sweet bread, salad (yummy dressing!), chicken wings, steak and pork. The dessert is simply one of the best WDW dining has to offer: hawaiian bread pudding with warm sauce and vanilla ice cream.

Especially without the kids I would pick Boma, more for the exotic adult taste buds.
