We're looking to add 'Ohana to our list of Disney restaurants and we'd appreciate your opinions, particularly from those who've done dinner as a couple. I understand you are seated with others at large tables, correct? Thanks for any info offered.

We were not. But then again, we went right after one of the hurricanes in 2004, so I don't know if that was the reason - others here could tell you.

What I can say is we got a table near a window (just the two of us) when the fireworks show was going on at MK and it was amazing! Very romantic.

I haven't eaten at O'Hanas for about 3 years but as far as I can remember, you do not eat with other people.

We ate there over the weekend and my husband, daughter and I had our own table. Everything was excellent. We will definately be going back on our next trip. This is one the best ran resturants at Disney IMO. We waited about 10 minutes past our ADR, while the rest all weekend were about an hour. The food was good and plenty. We couldn't eat half the food they brought us.

As far as I can recall, the only Disney restaurant that you share a table with other families is Biergarten in Germany (Epcot).

Ohana serves their food family style, where they bring it to your table to share and then refill what you want more of. Maybe that's what you were thinking of :confused3

DH and I went in March/April, full review and pics can be found in my signature.

We loved it!

We went as a couple last Oct. and didnt sit or share a table with another family. We like another poster said had a table right at the window over looking the lagoon. It truely was a magical view! We had the earliest ADR possible and I belive its 5PM. If we dont get the same table this year Im going to ask if we can please wait because the Bar right there is nice as well ;) Overall we loved it!

There is no table sharing at 'Ohana. You will get your own table. In fact there are some very nice tables for two right at the windows. A very nice way to spend a mealtime!

Yep, we go to Ohana every time (it is my favourite restaurant anywhere) and we have never been seated with others. It is just the two of us.

We had our own table by the windows - very nice view. I absolutely loved Ohana, but my husband wasn't quite as thrilled with it. I thought the food was great, the atmosphere was nice as well. We had ADR's and were taken right to our table when we checked in - no wait. My husband didn't think it was bad, but he didn't think it was great, either. He didn't really think any of the food at Disney was great, to be honest (and he says he's not a picky eater!! :confused3 )

Thanks, all, we were probably going to do this in any case, but it's good to know we'll have our own space. We've had some good experiences being seated in Biergarden and Teppanyaki and we've been stuck with a few wet blankets too. The menu is what attracts us and I'll probably try to get an ADR close to fireworks time and hope for a window seat.
