Good point. My reservations have always been right at 5 and we have always had the games...including last year.

Our reservation was at 4:50 I think? So maybe we were too early lol

March 2017 we were there 7:00-9:00 and had games.

March 2018 we were there 5:30-8:00 and had no games.

Who knows?? Lol

We were there in December for a 5pm reservation, stayed over an hour and a half, and the only game they did was the coconut race. There was no hula lesson, singing, or limbo.

It's not worth going for the "entertainment." The food isn't that great either. There are many better places to go for dinner.

I completely agree with this. We’ve decided we aren’t buffet people when it comes to Disney. We’ve tried quite a few and none stood out as ones we wanted to return to.

I might be in the minority, but I am glad they have scaled back on the kid stuff. A few years ago we were having dinner there and our table was on the aisle and we had a mom who was leaning her entire body across our table while we were trying to eat so she could get pictures of her little snowflake doing the coconut race. It was so bad the lady leading the games stopped a moment and made an announcement for the parents to please be considerate of the other diners, but of course snowflake mom didn't think that applied to her so we still had her boobs in our food until the race was over.

Yes. We said "Excuse me, we are trying to eat" and the lady running the games made eye contact with her and made a more general announcement about being respectful of the people eating, but nothing mattered to her except getting pictures of her snowflake playing the game.

100% yes! I had heard about the "entertainment" before our first visit to Ohana. After seeing the coconut race I was surprised that anyone actually considers that entertainment. It's certainly not a reason to go there in and of itself....plus we didn't think the food was anything special.
