I tried to book 'Ohana for my 12 days in the first 2 weeks of November and got nothing. I checked the rest of the month, and nothing for 'Ohana is available, either. Is the entire month of November booked for 'Ohana already? Or am I looking at some sort of glitch?

Ohana Dinner is the #1 most difficult ADR to get these days, and it's been bookable for early Nov for almost a month.

Keep trying though, a couple times a day and you'll likely stumble upon one eventually.

Sadly- not a glitch. My 180 was about 2 weeks ago and based on the pre-booking research I was doing- there was even very limited availibility if you booked on day 180 - even just after the 180th day flipped...and that's exactly what I encountered come 5amCT on my 180th day. Very few slots were open and most were on the later side. I rebooked 'Ohana for a better day and time about 3 days later (just pure luck of it appearing). On day 4, DH told me he really didn't want to do 'Ohana :rolleyes1 (ah - dining stalking for nothing:rotfl:) so I released it back into the system...and by day 5...nothing was left.

The good news...while it will involve stalking the website to some degree... things do open up at 'Ohana. I've always had really good luck of getting something to turn up...especially in those last 2 weeks before travel. Sooooo- just keep trying. :goodvibes

We booked Ohana's for 8pm on 8 November (at 180 days) online. There were, at the time, slots available for 8.00/8.15pm so was very pleased to secure 8pm. We had initially wanted about 7.15 but there weren't any that early. Shortly after this time, I noticed O'Hanas showing very limited or no availability for dinner so glad I booked it when I did!

I just checked for Nov 20-Dec 1 and there are openings every single night for 'Ohana :confused3

I just took what you posted, and looked again. I could get seating also, if I had a party of 3 or more. Sadly, I am going solo this year.

It seems as if there is no seating for one. Is that how it works at 'Ohana? Does anyone have info about this?

Ah that explains it! They do not have that many tables for 2 (which is where they seat tables of 1).

Ohana has also reportedly had issues with solo diners. It's usually recommended to attempt for 2 there.

Though it does have a CC-guarantee, the official policy is that as long as you show up, you won't be charged. You may want to call ahead and attempt to modify the ADR down from 2 to 1 though, just in case (but don't cancel if they can't find anything!)

Thanks for your info. I've learned quite a bit from writing this post. I may save 'Ohana til next trip when DD and her BF join me. I couldn't figure out, anyway, what I would do with multiple skewers of meat and family-size dishes of food.

My 180 days were last Tuesday. I booked on the phone as the online system wouldnt link my ressie and I got 7pm for a table of 9 but went to change it this morning and nada. Guess Im not changing it lol. Keep checking though!

If you really want to eat there, book a table for 2 and then call and change it to one OR pay the $10 fee

I couldn't get in for a party of 4 for dinner in the first week of Nov. I just made all of our ADR's yesterday because we still weren't sure if we could afford to go. Ohana was the only one we didn't get though. I'm not too worried about it. It sounds like fun, but honestly my kids don't really care. If it was just me and the hubs I'd worry more about where we were going to eat. I pretty much made ressies are the same restaurants we ate at last year :thumbsup2

I'm solo as well. Book for a party of 2. I saw this tip from another DISer. The only meals you can't do that with are the fully per-paid ones, but the ones that are just a hold shouldn't be a problem.

Thanks for this suggestion. Great idea! It might just work.
