Can we go to eat at the polynesian hotel on the 7th day for breakfast? We have a 6 day hopper and since we have a early afternoon flight it's not worth it to us to upgrade to a 7 day hopper?

I'm not really sure what you're asking. The Polynesian Resort is not inside a theme park, therefore you don't need a park ticket to be able to visit/eat there.

That's what I was wondering, thank you. :) I'm trying to finalize our week. On our last day, I figured it would be fun to do one last character meal before heading to the airport. So good, no hoppper needed unless we eat say at tusker or CRT.

With that said. is an 8:30am reservation bad coming from POR to ohana for breakfast?

What time would we need to leave POR to head to the airport for a 3pm flight?

Are you flying from MCO? It is only a 30 minute drive to the airport from the WDW area. I think you would be fine with an 8.30 reservation and it would be a great way to end your vacation. Will you have a rental car? Or are you using Magical Express? Or other transport? If you are staying at a Disney resort, you should be able to check in for your flight at the resort (if you are flying within the US with one of the following airlines):

•AirTran Airways
•Alaska Airlines
•American Airlines
•Delta Air Lines
•JetBlue Airways
•Southwest Airlines
•United Airlines
•US Airways

taking the disney transportation from port orleans to MCO.

Oh wow, had no idea about the check in for our flight from the resort resort. GREAT to know, THANK YOU!!!!!!!

So, would you be using the Disney transport to get from Port Orleans to the Poly? If so, I would catch a bus to Magic Kingdom, then take the resort monorail to the Polynesian. After breakfast, you will have plenty of time to explore the resort, before catching the monorail back to Magic Kingdom, then a bus back to Port Orleans Resort. If you had time, you could always catch the monorail to the Contemporary and have a look around there.

great suggestion(s), THANK YOU! Yes we'll be going all disney unless we cab it. we dont have a rental so disney bus/monorail/boat is the way to go for our entire week ;)

Someone in another thread said it can take up to an hour to get from POR to the castle. not sure how much time we'll really have to explore.

also how often does the bus from the resort (POR) to the airport run/take? can't afford to miss our flight home, LOL!!!

Are you taking Magical Express to the airport? That's the Disney airport transportation. If so, they will pick you up at POR three hours before your flight time. If your flight is at 3pm, you will be scheduled for the 12pm bus and should arrive at the ME bus stop by 11:45 for it.

You should take the MK bus from POR around 7:15am and then transfer to the monorail for Poly. This will put you there by your 8:30 ADR most likely. I always allotted an hour and 15 mins when traveling from POR to another resort and it usually worked out right.

We did Ohana on our last day but we were later in the morning so it wasn't too busy. I wasn't crazy about it because I felt the selection was poor and the characters were slow. Chef Mickeys at Contemporary and Cape May at YC/BC are also two character breakfasts outside of the parks that we like better.

yes I think we'll be doing the Magical Express. I believe that's what is included in our package. LOL, I originally had cape may since it is close to POR but liked the characters better at the poly. Ugggh, decisions, decisions. we have chef mickeys already planned for another day.

Actually, I think Poly would be closer to POR. MK is the closest park to POR and Poly is quick to get to from MK. If you went with Cape May, you'd have to bus to DHS and then boat to YC/BC which can be time consuming - more time consuming than the monorail, IMO. I would stick with the Ohana ADR. 8:30 should give you enough time if you don't plan to do anything after breakfast, since you will need to leave where you are by around 10:45-ish to get back to POR in time for Magical Express.

we have a 3:15 flight and the agent told us that the ME will pick up at by 12:15 and we should be at that bus stop 15 minutes before. We should get that information at the hotel the night before. She also told me that we have to get on that bus as that is where our esearvation is listed. We can not take any ole bus.

I first made a reservation for 9:30 at Ohana and I think I got kinda scared. Last time we went here we had to wait what seemed like a very long time.
I kept looking and finally found a great time of 8:30 which will give me three hours to get seated- eat--see all the characters and make our way back to the resort. (the main reason I booked the Contempory)

Iwould look into the cost of a cab just in case so if you are running behind you will have it budgeted just in case
