We have eaten at 'Ohana 3 times and it's our favorite restaurant, we love it! We have never eaten there during the fireworks. How is it? Do they turn the lights off? I know they pump in the music but I just want to hear other people's experiences

My DH and I dined at 'Ohana last month with an 8:15 reservation on a Sunday night (mothers day). When "Wishes" began the lights were dimmed and the music was pumped into the restaurant - everyone gathered around the windows - it was awesome!

We were lucky enough to be seated near a window facing the Magic Kingdom on our honeymoon and were able to watch the fireworks from our table just as they brought out dessert.

Like the previous poster said, they start playing the Wishes music soundtrack through the restaurant and dim the lights, but not so much that you can't see your food/table.

Definitely one of my favorite memories from the trip!

if you have a reservation, are you able to request a window seat or do you have to just take what they give you when you get there?

You could try to request it, but it might not help - when we were there the restaurant was completely packed, so I think we just lucked out.

We didn't realize it was a WISHES night, our DD had elected to hang out in Simba's Cubhouse for the evening, so it was just my husband and me at our table 2 rows back from the window. The lights dimmed, the music started, perfect view, and... magic. :)
