Any advice regarding which park day should be followed by Ohana? We are headed to Disney Presidents Day week (kids are 9, 5), and I can't decide when we should reserve dinner at Ohana. We will go to the parks in the morning and likely take a mid-afternoon break at our resort (Beach Club). Can we do Ohana around 5 on our MK day before we go back in for fireworks or is that too hectic? Should we do it after HS or AK instead, around 6-7, if we don't plan to do their nighttime shows? No park hopper at this point.

With Ohana, you rarely have the luxury of choice. However, if I was not planning on nighttime activities at two parks, my first choice would be one of those nights. If I couldn't get an ADR on one of those days, then I'd try for the 5:00 on an MK day.

I agree with trying to get an ADR on a night you're not going back to a park. We usually leave in a food coma. :rotfl:

Thanks for the advice, I booked two reservations when my window opened this week and want to cancel one. I'll cancel the one on the Magic Kingdom day.

I'd do the magic kingdom day especially at the beach club. you already going to be up there anyway. simple and easier and less hassle with transportation.

I think we will likely be coming from our resort, as my family loves an afternoon break.

We're going the same week and doing Ohana on our MK day - we'll see if we make it back to the park! We have older kids so we don't usually do the afternoon break. I can't wait to go and eat there!
