'Ohana dinner...what are my odds at 180 days?

DW talked me into trying for an 8p 'Ohana dinner for the two of us on our arrival day >next< fall. All of my other ADRs should be no trouble but having heard horror stories about the scarcity of ADRs for this place, should I be concerned that planning this on our arrival date may not be enough lead time even this far out? (Our planned CRT dinner is on day 6 for example, 180 +10 should be more than enough to secure this one.)

i booked my adrs at 180 out for the week before christmas and there were plenty of ohanas. i played with my ressies for weeks and weeks, and ohana ran out completely probably within 2 or 3 weeks, and that's a pretty busy time. you should be okay :)

Booked my Ohana ressie at 180 days out and had no problem. We got exactly the time we wanted and there were plenty of times available. You should be ok.

Yeah, I would agree with the others on this one. I made my ADR's 180+10 days out for my Jan trip and got a 6:30 pm at 'Ohana no problem. It'll be easy peezy!popcorn::

I'm 60 days out and it took about 5 days of checking a few times a day to come across an 'Ohana reservation.

Like weightloss - results may not be typical :)

I got up this morning and made a reservation for some friends at 'Ohana for 5 people...exactly 180 days out from the date at 6:56 AM EST and I had two options - 4:35 PM or 6:35 PM. I was surprised those were my only options but I suppose the people who snagged any others were 180 + 10-ers. Also I know that 5 is a weird # for Disney. But anyway, YES, you can get it.

I got an 'Ohana reservation well after the 180 day mark (it is for 8 PM but that does not bother me at all - looks like it doesn't bother you either). Even if you can't get one, keep trying.

By some miracle I was able to snag a 6:00 pm 'Ohana reservation for 4 people at 60 days out:cool1:

Semi-related side question - I know they pipe the current fireworks music in from Wishes...do they also pipe in the music from the Electrical Water pageant?

:offtopic: A bit further off topic, but do they play the music on the beach if we got a 6:30ish reservation, ate and went outside to watch about 8:30-9p? The more options the better...;)
