Can anyone tell me which you would go to for a CB. What did you like or not like about each?

And if you've been to Ohana's did they have the Tonga Toast there or is that only at Konas?

Thanks to all!

My family and I debated this at our last trip, and we ended up going to 1900 PF. (I'm 14, I still love the character breakfast). Since we've never been to Ohana's I can't really tell you what it's like there, but we all LOVED 1900 PF. The characters there, if I can remember, were Pooh, Alice, and friends (I can't remember the rest it was almost a year ago) but it was a lot of fun. And, of course, the food was excellent. I'd love to go back there, but I'm sure Ohana's is great too!

1900 PF
Characters - Alice, Mad hatter, Pooh and friend, Mary Poppins
Served Buffet - you go to it
Location GF - beautiful resort

Ohanna
Characters - Mickey, Goofy, Chip & Dale (in flower print)
Served Family style it comes to you
Location - Poly - some views of the castle from the restaurant
Short parade for kids to join in - pretty cute

Both are fun and have good food. I think 1900 PF has more variety of food.

1900 Park Fare is my favorite character breakfast. There's a nice selection of food and the character interaction is great. 'Ohana was just ok. There's not really much of a selection since you get a family style skillet and there's no Tonga Toast. The character interaction wasn't that great either.

Any one else, i'm really having a hard time deciding and i'm now leaning towards 1900 PF.

My mom says that she thinks the mad hatter will be too scary for the kids so she wants Ohana's. We've done all the others and just wanted a change.

How old are the kids? Because all the characters are really good around younger kids. They only do scary stuff around the older ones. (Once in a parade, Shan You (sp) from Mulan walked up to me a like just stared down on me... but walked straight past the younger kids and waved and stuff).

I have not tried 1900 for breakfast, but I love Ohanas. They don't have the Tonga toast, it is a family style skillet with eggs, seasoned potatoes, Mickey Waffles, and a few other items. You also get pineapple bread and a fruit bowl before the skillet. You don't have as much variety as a regular buffet but you don't have to worry about the characters coming to your table when you are up getting food.

Oh, and when we went to 1900 PF, Mary Poppins and Burt (sp) were outside the restaurant.

Haven't been to 1900, but we went to O'Hanas back in April and I loved it! (oh yeah, DS thought it was cool too. :flower: )

I liked the fact that it was served family style, so DH and I didn't have to worry about missing a character while we were at the buffet.

The Mad Hatter isn't scary at all - even to older kids. He's more silly/goofy than anything else. 4 yo DD really liked him. I can remember when DD was 15 mos Mad Hatter crouching down next to her and just rubbing her arm and hand gently as he talked to her.

And the food at PF is great. Made to order omelets (made to order eggs any style you want, actually), the famous strawberry soup is there for breakfast too, mickey waffles, french toast, french toast sticks on the kids buffet. A lot more variety than you'll get at Ohana.

I have done both and liked both. This past trip we did 1900 Park Faire which was my first visit and I was very impressed. The characters were ones that I had not run into such as Mary Poppins, and the Mad Hatter. The service was great and their was a bus boy there who we adored he took charge of our table and the camera. Really nice guy!

Food wise it was buffet and their omelettes were delicious as well as their strawberry soup. YUM!!

O'Hanas food was good if I remember correctly but the characters were those I would see at Liberty Tree Tavern.

I loved the carousel theming of 1900.

We have never eaten at 1900 PF. Had breakfast at Ohanas 2 weeks ago and it was great. Would definitely go back again.

We love 1900 Park Fare and we have ADRs for Friday September 2nd. This is our favorite place for breakfast on the property. We love the omelet station, mickey waffles, and cheese blintzes. Also the strawberry soup is a must try for first timers.

I *loved* 1900 Park Fair! I went a few years ago so I don't remember all the characters except Mary Poppins, Mickey and Alice. There were quite a few though!

There was a lot of variety of food and it felt very special to be in the Grand Floridian.

I *adore* 'Ohana for dinner, but haven't tried it for breakfast, mostly because I'm not a big fan of eggs, and otherwise the menu is limited.

We did both last trip and loved them both. I agree 1900 Park Fare has more of a variety whereas, at O'hana's you don't have to worry about missing characters. DD said her pick out of the two would be 1900 Park Fare. She loved seeing Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter.

:cheer2: 56 days and counting
