Ohana changes?

If the potatoes are off the menu then we probably won't be going back. Shrimp (any form), potatoes and bananas foster were the main selling points on the dinner. The sausage was nasty so I'm glad it's gone. Sure will be glad to hear what the final changes will be.

Interesting that a previous poster thinks the dessert had changed as of January 3, but Tambu Lounge gladly sold me a dish of bread pudding on January 12. I am not sure they would have done that if it was not on the 'Ohana menu.

Wow, that's good to know that you can go to the lounge and order the desert. Sometimes that would be nice to have after a day at the parks and just unwinding. Do you happen to remember how much it cost?

They charged me $5. I got the impression they would not have done it if I hadn't specifically asked for the 'Ohana bread pudding.

subbing - I was planning on going there for the first time in August, but if it sounds like changes are being made for the worst I may reconsider. Thanks for all the info

Any recent news on the menu updates? I notice this thread is a couple of months old. Is there another one out there?

We were there last month and I have pictures and reviews on the link in my signature.

Was just there last week and LOVED the menu changes. They serve bread, salad, dumplings and chicken wings as the starters. Followed by the noodles, veggies (broc and snap peas I think) and the skewered meats (turkey, pork, steak and shrimp). The meats were served with dipping sauces which are very good. Dessert was the same bananas foster - all was very good!!! My family liked both the new and old menus. All is well if you are an Ohana's fan like us.

Was it bananas foster or bread pudding? I thought I read that they served bread pudding???? :confused3

It is still bread pudding with a banana sauce. I just read it in a review a couple of days ago.

I got this menu from allearsnet.com

I believe that menu is correct except for the scalloped potatoes. According to posts here, they are now serving a noodle dish in its place. Nor does that menu mention the dessert.

Was at WDW May 3-15 and had dinner at 'Ohana which is my favorite place to eat. I liked the changes very much. The potatos just didn't fit in well for me and the Lo Mein noodles are a nice accompanyment to the meal. The won ton / deep fried pot stickers were good as well. I am not a fan of bread pudding but it sure tasted better this time. I am very happy with the menu but very unhappy as I will not be ablt to return for 2-3 years!
