I just booked 'Ohana for breakfast for our upcoming trip. I am looking forward to the ease of getting there for a 7:45am ADR (we're staying at the Polynesian). Can anyone tell me how the food is? Which characters you've seen? Overall experience? Pictures, please....if you have any, would also be appreciated!

Thanks!!! :thumbsup2

Love this breakfast! Last time we were there we saw Lilo and Stitch, not sure about other characters but I'm sure someone else here will know who's there now for sure.

The food is great! Served family-style so there's lots to eat.. waffles, eggs, home fries (YUM), bacon, sausage.. its delicious and a really good time!

Went a couple of years ago - we aren't big breakfast eaters (usually granola, fruit). DS loved Stitch, Mickey, Pluto. We also saw Minnie and Lilo.
I loved the breakfast.
DS is at the age where he will not join a line, but Ohana does have one where all the kids dance around with maracas.
DS only ate fruit and enjoyed the juice. I paid a lot of money for the breakfast + the souvenir picture. Would like to go again, but we only do 1 breakfast per visit (if that) - just prefer ts for lunch or dinner to get money's worth. Have done CP, CM, and Stitch, booked THouse for upcoming trip. Stitch was our favorite so far!

Thanks for the quick replies. Sounds good! Is the juice they serve something special? I've read about a lilikoi juice at Kona I think - is this the same? Can you get Kona press pot coffee at 'Ohana for breakfast? That would be awesome....

we went on our last day in the world last year, and it was amazing...Stitch was a character! My daughter had a tshirt made in DTD of Lilo kissing stitch, and Stitch had my daughter pretend to be lilo for the picture...the juice is different but yummy! overall this was one of our top 3 eatting experiences! We are scheduled to visit again in Sept/Oct, and already have our ADRs made. Hope you enjoy your visit!

love it!!!!!!!!!!!Breakfast is served family style in a big skillet but they will bring extras

We took our granddaughters to Ohana for breakfast. In addition to Lilo & Stitch, Micky & Pluto were there. As mentioned previously the food was a generous assortment served family style. And you could ask for extras of anything. Our requests included additional fresh pineapple and scrambled eggs prepared without salt. The character interaction was good. We did not bother with the "official" paid photo but had plenty of opportunities to take photos of the girls with the characters with our own cameras. If I find the time I'll try to move a couple into a format that I can add to this post.

We really enjoyed Ohana. It was our second character breakfast of the week, the other being CP. In addition to my husband and my 2 boys, my sister her dh, her two girls, and my mom were there.

When we arrived they took our picture and seated us. They immediately gave us juice (Yummy!) and fresh fruit and rolls. The waitress brought us coffee and milk for the kiddos. It wasn't very long at all before they brought out two skillets of food. Each contained scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage links (very good, and I am usually not a "sausage" person, and biscuits. Then somebody came around with Mickey waffles. The first characters to come around were Lilo and Stitch. Stitch, of course, was a bit sillier. :) Then they did a parade around the restaurant with the characters. They gave the kids maracas. My ds (3) and my d(niece) (6) participated and had a great time.

Mickey and Pluto soon followed. They spent enough time with us to take pictures and sign autograph books.

Our ADR was for 7:50. We took plenty of time of breakfast, all took bathroom breaks, I changed ds(1) out of his Hawaiian shirt and into something cooler, and even shopped in the Poly gift shop for a few minutes. We made it *just* after RD.

While this won't be a "must-do" for every trip, we did really enjoy it.

Here are a bunch of pics. Sorry they are so big, I haven't re-sized in Photobucket yet.

Then you start all over again with whatever you liked best...or have room for!

My family loves this breakfast. In fact it is our favorite Disney breakfast. The characters have always been good and the food is always tasty and fresh. We generally save this as one of our last meals on property if not our last meal. Just a nice way to say goodbye for now. :goodvibes

We went Nov 2007 and loved it, so have booked for September. The food was amazing. Characters we saw were Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Pluto and Minnie.

Reviewed it from our trip last week in my June DXDP review below. The juice is the same as Kona, but you cannot get the Kona pressed pot, I asked!

The juice is excellent (I believe it is the same as the juice at Kona) and you can order the Kona pressed pot. The food is very good except for the bacon, which has an odd, smoky, leathery thing going on. But I found that to be the case with most Disney bacon, so perhaps I'm just crazy. :)

We saw Stitch, Lilo, Mickey, Minnie...and maybe Goofy, I can't recall for certain. We went at a quiet time and sat in a corner by the window so it was very relaxing.

Hmmm, we were able to order it, but that was over a year ago. Bummer if you can't any longer.

Since Chef Mickey's was not available when I booked ADR's last year, I opted to eat at Ohana's. While I love going to the Poly, I wasn't sure what to expect for breakfast.

The food was very good. Since it was not served buffet style, we weren't as rushed to get our food before the characters visited our table. My 18 month old granddaughter had fun with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, Minnie and Goofy.

I believe this is one we will do again.

We just went to Ohana for breakfast last week. While I will say the food was good, the service was great, the characters were fantastic I really prefer the character buffet breakfasts. Love the choices that you get at the buffets. Ohana just didn't "wow" me like Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace or Donald's Safari Breakfast.
