I'm sure its been posted before but...

Wow. Excellent food and service. If you like barbecue... be sure to try this restaurant. Slightly pricey for a buffet, but you never have to leave your table, and the seasoning on the food is superb.

We ate there for the first time last week and our whole family LOVED it. My DD5 says we have to go back there when we go back to Disney in December. Of course she loved the hula-hooping and coconut races for the kids. The food was excellent. I loved the peanut sauce they have. If you are a meat eater you will definately get your moneys worth. One of our new found favorites!!

I think the poster means barbecueing as in grilled meats, not as in like BBQ sauce.

This is one of our fav's! We do not miss Ohana's when we visit Disney.

Merriam-Webster said:
Main Entry: barbecue
Variant(s): also bar·be·que
Function: noun
Etymology: American Spanish barbacoa framework for supporting meat over a fire, probably from Taino
1 : a large animal (as a steer) roasted whole or split over an open fire or a fire in a pit; also : smaller pieces of barbecued meat
2 : a social gathering especially in the open air at which barbecued food is eaten
3 : an often portable fireplace over which meat and fish are roasted

Yep, love it. Only problem is I like the appetisers so much I never have enough room to appreciate the entree! :rotfl2:

Anyway, yes I'll be back too with maybe my maternity pants to fit it all in,
Claire

We LOVE  Ohana. For Breakfast or Dinner. We never miss it. (it one of the two restruants that DH insists on eating at when we go)

Gee, bwallace....thanks for the Webster definition - I KNOW what BBQ means, but I just never think of Ohana's in that way....which is what I posted in the first place.

will never ever go there again! food was dry and burnt. only thing barely edible were the appetizers. never heard of shrimp skewered that way with the shell/skin still on. we asked for a quiet table and were seated on the "front lines" for coconut races and hula hoop contest. we asked again for a quiet table... were ignored. should have taken that as a sign to just leave. i was not impressed and we wont be staying at the poly because of such a bad dining experience. there are too many nice places to dine at WDW to have to endure such lousy food.
