Ohana...and the $28 PB&J

Oh darn it, I didn't book Ohana for our Sept. trip and you are all making me wonder if I can change that! We ate there last July and loved it! My kids were disappointed when I told them we weren't going, but I wanted to try some new places. Now i wonder what I could bump and if i could get an ADR. We are staying at the Poly, so it's right there after all, Hmmm back to re think my ADRs....

OK, is this nuts??? On our Epcot day we have a 1pm lunch ADR at Le Celier. The plan was RD, tour Epcot FW all morning and then go to lunch, followed by break & swim at the Poly and evening in the WS. Is it crazy to cancel that lunch, take our break and try to book an early dinner at O Hana??? We've never been to Le Cellier, but of course I read all the wonderful reviews of it here. The thing is, I live 45 min. outside of NYC, and a good steak restaurant isn't hard to find at home. My kids DD13, DD10 and DD5 liked the themed and fun restaurants and aren't nuts about quiet sit down places no matter how good the food. They love Ohana's as they all love meat, and they really enjoyed the theming last year.

Am I nuts to give up a Le Cellier ressie???????

Tough call, but in your case maybe give up LeCellier. It is a good place for steaks, and a place we enjoy,but it seems you can get something similar back home. Ohana, however,is unique. If you're looking for a fun, themed restaurant Ohana would get the nod over LeCellier.

With kids that age I would definitely give up a *lunch* at Le Cellier for dinner at O'Hana!
