First, I have to admit that I read these boards daily--ok, sometimes more than just once or twice a day! I rarely post but I just love reading everyone's comments! Now I need some advice...
We have decided we'd like to try Ohana for dinner one night on our trip next month. I have not made any PS's yet. My questions are these:
1. What time is the best in order to see MK fireworks? And would I have to request a special seating area or can the fireworks be seen from the entire restaurant?
2. If I don't get an "optimal" PS time, can we hang out and watch the fireworks from somewhere on the Poly grounds?

Also, we will be staying at BCV this year and we will have a car. Do you suggest we drive over or take Disney transportation?

Thanks!

We ate at 'OHanas last November and loved it. We had an early PS, I think 5:00, right when they opened. Fireworks must have been at 6:00 because we were still there for it. We were seated next to the firepit and could have seen the fireworks from there but the kids wanted a better view so we went over to the window (I did ask the family over at the window if it was okay to stand next to them). They even dim the lights and play the fireworks music. If you end up finishing before the fireworks, you can go down to the beach and watch them. Can't really help you on your transportation question. Have a great vacation!!:D

When we went in early March, we had a 6:40 PS. We were seated at 6:25, 6:30 and the fireworks were at 7. We had the perfect view- it was truly magical. I have read several times on the boards that if you are unable to get the PS time that coincides with the fireworks, it is very magical to go to the beach, stake out a hammock and watch from there. Sounds good to me!

I think you would be better off driving. You "could" walk through Epcot, catch the monorail, get off at the TTC and walk, or switch monorails at the TTC and get off at the Poly- I think it's the first stop after the TTC. I don't know how long the walk is from the TTC to the Poly but I know I have read you can do it. But depending when your PS is, you might not be able to walk thru Epcot on your way back...stick with driving.
