Have a great trip, Pat. I know you've been burning the candle on all ends. Magical times for you, Rosie and the rest of the gang.

You've probably already left - but have a magical trip!

I hope you have a truly magical time. pixiedust:

You deserve it!! :thumbsup2

Have a great trip!!

I guess I missed you, but in case you see this: Have a fabulous time!!!

Thanks Everyone!!!! I was able to check in and see all the send off messages and appreciate them. Always seemed I had a crazy signal so was frustrated even trying to post anything. :rolleyes1

I am home and Exhausted. I had a wonderful time with Rosie and her crew.

It was HOT HOT HOT and now TODAY the weather broke and it will be cool for MEK. :lmao: Figures huh?

Lots of great things on this trip ....

Rosie, Carol and the group are great to tour with. The child like enthusiasm and wonder was infectious. I think they did better with the heat than I did.

I got to go INSIDE the Grand Flo Villas. That was an adventure!!!!

Now for the not so great because every trip has them.

First time - No Text for my room being ready- I knew I jinxed it when I said I always got one... :rolleyes1

An allergy migraine made me lose an entire day. :headache:

The crazy heat.... Now I am NOT wishing for a cooler trip.... I do not want snow for New years. :lmao:

Hopefully I can get back on track and catch up everywhere.
:)

Welcome home.
I stayed at 3 resorts on our trip last Nov and never got a text for any of them when they were ready.

Welcome Back!

It's Disney so I know you had a wonderful time in spite of the glitches........right? :)

At least hopefully not another "horrible" trip........ :rolleyes1

Welcome home, Pat!

The room texts have never worked for me - maybe this was a one time slip up...or you are now a member of the no room text . ;)

My native Floridian friends warned me about the early/mid October heat, but I went twice thinking how could it really be that miserable..it was and worse! My last October trip was the end of the third week and weather was perfect. :)

How awful to lose a day due to a migraine...hope you felt much better the rest of the trip. :goodvibes

Welcome back Pat! Sorry that you had trouble with a migraine!! Sounds awful!

But I hope you had lots of fun as well!

Yeah I think I was saying I always got them on one of your TRs. I knew I would be jinxed. The poor CM checking me in didn't have a clue really.

When I got back to the desk to fuss, they said my phone number was not in the system. Despite me giving it to the CM no less than 3 times and getting a test text and replying. :faint:

Oh there were moments of a sequel to the horrible trip. But then again that one didn't end up being horrible in the end did it? ;)

Welcome home, Pat. Glad you had a good time with Rosie and gang.

Thanks Kathy. Need to visit your PTR when I have time to catch up.
A very memorable time and very special indeed. :goodvibes

The best room text was the one where I was still 30 minutes away and got a text my room was ready. :cool1:

October can be fickle and I usually had great weather or at least a mix. This time was almost record heat and no real rain to speak of. I hope it was a fluke since Oct is a really good time for me to go but I may need to look at Nov. ;)

This was probably the worst I have had in a looooong time. I think just a lot of things building up in my system and it finally overloaded. It was the second to last day I lost and Rosie's last day so that was :(.

Welcome back Pat! Sorry that you had trouble with a migraine!! Sounds awful!

I did have lots of fun. The migraines stink and this was the by far the worst one I have had in a long time. I basically was able to sleep it off until I can take the medicine and keep it down. Doing that enabled me to be functional Tuesday and also be fine during the drive home which was most important.

I guess I really need to talk to the chef every time but at Food and Wine it really needs to be easier.

I do have an idea I need to share with Disney.... On the offerings signs they have a QR code you can scan for more info. Unfortunately the only thing the code does is bring you to the main website with the menu information you are staring at. They should have an allergy code you can scan for the ingredients.

I am sad to see the houses go but glad to see what they did.

I totally agree. ::yes::

Welcome home!!! :welcome: party: :welcome:

I'm so sorry to hear about the migraine. :headache: That is awful! There is nothing worse than headaches you can't make go away, I've been there and I thank God I don't have them like I use to. I use to have to call John home from work to take care of the kids, they were that bad.

I can't wait to hear all about your trip!! :yay:

Brilliant idea with the QR code! :thumbsup2

Rosie came home with allergy related issues too! I finally set up pollen alerts from Orlando so now I will know what I am getting into and adjust accordingly. It seems like every trip I figure out a little bit more and have to adjust just a little bit more.
Suddenly talking to the chefs are not that big of a hassle. :lmao: I really just need to get a card and my list to hand to the chef. :lmao:

Once again I apologize for being MIA. Like most around there several things going on and I struggle to keep up much get ahead.

*******************************************

Back by Tomorrowland and the Nemo ride. Somehow I did not put this with the rest of Tomorrowland, probably because it was out of the way.

Next time - Fireworks and Fantasmic at DL. A very odd experience to say the least.

Once again I apologize for being MIA. Like most around there several things going on and I struggle to keep up much get ahead.

I am very happy to say that I have a relatively free weekend, and it feels SOOOO good!

And when I finally get time to visit over her, this is what I find!
 :crazy2: :scared1: :faint:

Oh how sorry a group would be if I were on that ride with them now. :sad2:

The monorail has windows that open !!!

I bet that helps the 'aroma' of the monorail a bit. :thumbsup2

Wow...Nemo sure is different in DL than it is at DW. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable in that tiny little space on that little boat.

I'm anxious to see the fireworks and Fantasmicphotos.

Well, I know what ride John and I won't be going on when we go back to DL.

That's a little too close for comfort, at least for us. :scared: :faint:

I really miss DL, but every time I start to price a trip I'm convinced the costs and benefits going to WDW is so much better for us. We'll just have to see. :)

Pat, I fell terribly behind, so I'm trying to get caught up.

First off, congrats on the 1/2! Jeni and I are on track to run the Princess Half in 2015. We missed the registration for the 2014 race, and it filled up so fast, it was ridiculous! I'm super excited, I always wanted my first race to be a Disney race.

No shame in forgetting to take pictures, but that does make sense why you called it a horrible trip. :rotfl2:

I have to ask myself that all of the time. Who wears heels in Disney?!

Love the GC! Because my business trip in April was so last minute, we couldn't get the whole time at GC, but still loved it.

Cool, you could see WOC from your verandah!

I loved those Mickey waffles in DLR. They were so yummy.

We had a huge line for entry one of our days too. It was absolutely insane. We had to go all the way back to Whitewater Snacks.

Aladdin is most definitely a don't miss. It's my favorite Disney show. The Genie is just hysterical.

Yup. ToT did that to me the first time we rode it too.

I admit to riding Heimlich's Chew Chew train with my Mom. It was cute. I couldn't resist. He chews and makes noise while you ride.

That stinks that you spent your whole EMH waiting. We didn't have any problems when we visited, but that would have been disappointing.

Isn't the real silverware and dish ware thing at CS in DLR just crazy. It's like in WDW we're hillbillies. :lmao:
