Disneyland Halloween party
First thing I will say is that they probably often get confused with the MNSSHP because when I called for tickets the CM was SO careful to tell me that this party was in Disneyland in Anaheim CA.

Esplanade or promenade or plaza or entrance, take your pick. Pretty crowded tonight

My friend who went to Disneyland a few weeks ago brought her pictures by for me to see. One of the things she said the kids were shocked at was the size of the castle. She said they just kept talking about how small it was in comparison to Cinderella Castle.

As much as I hate to admit it, I could totally see people trying to book stuff in DLR thinking it was WDW. I get all indignant at the fact that people say Disneyland all the time when they're talking about Disney World.

I love Disney resorts in the fall, yet that is the time of year I never go! Sad state of affairs it is.

I did get the 2014 Unofficial guidebook from the library and am poring over that now.

It is a wee castle. The whole area just ha a different feel because of it.

The poor CM was trying to convince me I had the wrong tickets. I practically had to give him my GCV reservation number.
But I can totally see saying I want Mickeys Halloween party tickets instead of Mickeys Not so Scary Halloween Party tickets.
I am sure it happens all the time so good for him. Me being on the east cast I am sure sent up a red flag.

I think Fall may be my favorite time of year. Nothing against Christmas time fall just is the extra plus for special decorations.

I am not sure if I just had a very odd trip or these odd things just happen at DL. I remember there being a timing issue with fireworks and then the second F!

The thread here on the DIS helped with planning. I am sure there are many updated as things have changed since I went. I will be looking to you for updates for my next trip. :

Fantasmic does not sound like it use to be. I don't like the unorganized way they go about it either.

Going to DL in the Fall was ALWAYS the best time to go. I've probably mentioned this before....we always went the week right after Thanksgiving break, all the kids were back in school, no crowds almost everything walk on, and if we were lucky you'd get to see some of the Christmas decorations. I'm sure all that's changed by now, they probably put up decorations as soon as Halloween is over.

It was similar to DHS F! but some things like you mentioned were different.

IF I get to go back next year it will be probably be around Halloween again. I will be better prepared this time. Christmastime sure would be neat though. .
