So I just GOT BACK IN THE CAR after checking in.
Several guesses for EPCOT or DHS or even Stormalong Bay.

Glad I didn't submit my incorrect guess...........

I hit the road again and head to MK and the TTC at 9:35am

WOW, wouldn't have gone there...........well, maybe in my wildest dreams!!!

Parked in Simba and a tram was coming.

for perfect tram timing!!!

First time heading to the TTC via tram.

Seems like this trip may have been full of firsts...........

Lo and behold the new Peach monorail was approaching the station.

Doesn't look like a peach. Did it at least have some fuzz on it???

Monorail won the coin toss Here comes Light Blue.

What? No lake cruise on such a beautiful looking day???

But Remember Goofy? My AP. Who was sequestered in his own pouch since all my APs become demagnetized?

I slide Goofy in and wait...... NOTHING the CM has to scan it to let me in.
ROLLS EYES..........
Goofy let me down at the gate.

Oh Goofy!!! Say it ain't so!!!!

I ask the CM if it was demagnetized and she replied yes.
So my first ride would be Guest services.

Don't you just HATE that infamous Guest Services ride........

I hop into Guest services to be helped right away.

I ask him to check my AP and he tells me it is fine- not demagnetized. WHOO HOO GOOFY is GOOD.

Yeah Baby!!!!!!

I get my TIW with the AP discount and I am on my way fast. The CM earning his ears had not done one before so I taught him something new.
Not Horrible.

Hmmm, seems not much horrible on this trip, at least so far........ You sure this is really a horrible trip???

I stop for a PP. The CM made me do the “Princess pose”

What? No shorts? No water bottles? No Expedition Barbie, uh, Pat attire and accessories???

Which way do I head and which is the official first “ride” of the day?

To be fair it is called SPLASH Mountain. You have to expect to get wet at some point.

Nice HM at the Plaza! Never seen that one before. And you did a good job with the fountain picture, too.

And I'm SO glad you got your trash can pics. Wouldn't be the same without them.

It is SPLASH Mountain not SOAK mountain. I usually get the cannon right on me. I never get really wet on the drop but I guess the weight distribution in the log must have been different.


I actually have to thank Marv for the Plaza HM. I was given really good hints on where to look.

I don't mind Splash, but I'm ALWAYS the one who gets soaked. I like to leave that for just before I leave the park, so I can get dry in the room.

Yes I am the one who always gets soaked. I can usually wring out my clothes afterward.

The room ready text is one of the most wonderful things. Especially when it is so hot out and you are about to hit a wall.

I am happy to report the Goofy did indeed make it the whole trip. By the oct trip I will have a new AP. I am saving that envelope - it is magic.

So glad Goofy was able to hold up for you the entire trip!!!

No more new management.

I think a lot of people are happy about that little fact!!!

First partial day was wonderful- got so much done it was great.
I really had my "summer collection " out during that trip.

This is TRULY scary!!! It is like we don't even know you at all..............

I did get some cards but <spoiler> never did play. Totally forgot about it.

Can't imagine finding time for this either! Too many distractions........

Don't you just love how you can always find someone at Disney willing to help you out by taking a picture??? I try to do that for people whenever I see the opportunity.............and I'm not in such a hurry to get somewhere...............

I've yet to get one before around 4 p.m. Maybe next time!

I think AKL on New Years Day was the latest I ever got a text and that was around 3pm.

I guess I am lucky. Now that I said that, it will be after 4 next time.

Seems like you are having a great trip so far.

BCV is a dream to stay at for me. I am wait listed for October but have no chance of getting it.

Looking forward to reading more.

I booked right at 11months. One of the reasons BCV is my home.

Love your pictures!!! I haven't seen past attempts at the fountain picture, but the one you got is spectacular!

Fun lineup of rides. Once again, you got an awful (not horrible) lot done in a short span of time.

Thanks for the pictures of Fantasyland and Dumbo. I have never been on Dumbo. Must try it sometime.

I am actually a little too tall to stand up and get the crown on her head. I am a little too short to sit down and get it right so there I get in a kinda squat position and hope I can hold the camera steady.

According to Stitchkingdom the Tumble Monkeys may be going away in 2013.

I actually read they were moving and the closure is so they can move the theater or build a new one? Apparently the rumor is that Camp Mickey Minnie will become Avatarland.

I hope they don't go away for long and maybe they can do meet and greet in the mean time.

I had an ADR at the Plaza. No pepper girl and much less noise this time.

It was hot and about 2:00 or so and I was hot. I needed something sweet for later so I ducked in here to get a goodie.

Oh yes, a good dose of sugar is the perfect thing for a hot day!! Just who would do that anyway??? Oh wait.............

Head toward the train station that voice, you know the one that pops in your head to remind you that you forgot something? Yeah that one. Dumbo FP. CRAP. Hot and a bit tired but not to miss out, the train, the train. Yes the train was an option but looking at the FP and the newly enforced FP windows I was nervous. I did not want to make it all the way over there to be denied.
That would be Horrible.

Got the car back to the Beach club and after the car was parked I needed to make my way to the front desk to get the room number.

I stop at the front desk and tell the CM I got a text but no room number. He gives me a look. I pull out the phone to show him. Can’t remember if I actually had to show him ID again but he very reluctantly wrote the room number down on a piece of paper. Not sure why written down vs. telling me, but I know if he told me I probably would have forgotten by the time I got up there.

I call for LS and document the room while I wait. They were lightning fast

It was about 4:15.

Time for a shower and a quick nap. I knew I needed to get out of the heat and rest. Way too hot to go commando this time.

I head back out around 8:15pm. Plenty of time to stop and get some fish and chips for dinner and find a spot on the viewing area by the bridge connecting France with the UK

Finally getting dark.

Yup that the only picture I took. HORRIBLE…

I really got caught up in IllumiNations. I love fireworks and the music ( the globe meh) so when it was over I just stood there and took in all the World Showcase had to offer. Felt like I was standing there just a few minutes but when I finally looked around the crowd had emptied out.

What to do, What to do?????

It was EPCOT EMH so of course I was up for staying and walking around.

I took the train back around and then headed out the gate to the monorail and then to the tram.

Not having to wait for a bus during what is called “shuttle time” and buses are not frequent was NOT horrible.
It was here I discovered a text from Disney

I will have a new AP in Oct so I am curious who I will get and I am keeping the envelope for good luck.

Hooray for no Pepper girl. I did not have a bad experience last time but this time was MUCH better.

Without Pepper girl there, I guess this time you could just enjoy your meal without distractions!!!

Sorry we never crossed paths. The rain did not help us this trip. I am sure we were so close to each other but never collided.

I found a wonderful dress in the gift shop. ( really need to find a picture of it ) It needed to be mine. While checking out I chatted up the CM.
Talked about EMH and it being a Sunday. The CM said every once in awhile EMH is on Sunday at EPCOT. She had to warn her boss at her “day” job she might be a bit sleepy in the morning.

DRUNK STORY


It is now about 10:30- the margarita stand in Mexico is open and a margarita is calling my name since I never did get a slushie in France.
There appears to be a crowd at the kiosk

Upon closer inspection…

I see multiple shots. Then I realize all these guys are speaking either Spanish or Portuguese and they were all doing shots.

So in essence they were not moving and blocking the path to boot.
I finally got one of the CMs behind the counter to get me a drink and I paid him and had to exit the wrong way. At least they were happy drunks. On the way out I almost bumped into some confused people while I walking out the wrong way. I gave them the heads up and continued on my merry way.


My reward!!!

Walked up toward the front and posed for a PP shot. The poor girl could not get my flash to trigger.

A few really dark shots and she tells me the flash is not going off. Yup I can see that.

Yup it works. She tries again- nothing. I give up and keep walking. No Picture - Horrible???


Walk onto SE. For some reason I thought it be funny to push another language. I also thought only the end would be in the language.

I listened to the WHOLE SE in JAPANESE. I was laughing the whole time at my silliness.
