It was a shock; although maybe the resort I was going to choose had it been available would have been more of a shock.

Yay for Coronado! It looks beautiful. If I could be sure there were no conventions going on when I wanted to go, I would book it in a heartbeat! We will be making a resort hop stop there this July. Probably to have lunch since I hear great things about the food there

Trust me, with the conventions, the pools and buses are a lot less crowded. And don't forget -- the GF, Yacht & Beach Club, Contemporary are also convention resorts.

So glad you are getting to go home in December!!! We may be staying there in September - how are the resort buses or do you always have a rental car?

Looking forward to finding out the September winner!

Jen, I only used the buses once thus far at CSR and waited less than five minutes and it was 10 minute exactly to the MK. As with any resort, you can have a bad day, but CSR gets consistently good marks for their bus service.

This September? When in September are you going?

I almost stayed to work overtime because the last two days I've been a bad girl and working on plans, flights, resorts, etc. I don't know how I'll make it another six months (from tomorrow!!!!).

Okay, I've kept you all in suspense long enough.

The three resorts that were in the running for our September trip were:

CSR (obviously didn't choose that one because of our December trip)

Port Orleans-Riverside (it's a beautiful resort and I love the food court, but it is so hard to "cheat" on Coronado in the moderate catgegory)

Old Key West (after two visits, this has become a favorite of ours)

And the winner is.......................................................

Yep, we're going to hear the words "Welcome Home." I really fell in love with OKW when we went in September and again in January when I went with Mary, Avery and Cayley.

For those who guessed AKL, that is going to be our place for May 2013 for our 30th wedding anniversary. We hope to get a one-bedroom as we are hoping Mark and Alisha will be able to join us for a few days.

Back to work, and I'll try to update later with first day plans.
