:eek::eek:

I was checking on the DCL website earlier today as a friend is thinking of coming on our cruise with us. Except our date is no longer listed on the site!! I doubt very much it has sold out so now I am worried that it has been privately chartered or something equally as inconvenient!!

Of course, as luck would have it, my TA left this morning for a month at Disney so I doubt she is going to be available to get me any more info!

I am getting very nervous as our whole itinerary is based around this cruise!!

Give Disney a call directly. They probably won't be able to make any adjustments to your booking, but they should be able to tell you why the cruise is no longer listed.

Our Disney Med cruise was privately chartered 10 weeks before departure. We had booked and paid for all the flights, hotels for time on our own after the cruse, WDW on the way home etc. We were able to re book on the cruise a week after ours, change flights etc and Disney paid ALL of the $6500 change fees. It was stressful but it all worked out.

I've emailed DCL but I'm not sure if they will respond since I booked through an agent. I'll give it a few days as there is much that can be done on the weekend anyway.

There is a couple of other dates that will work. Keeping my fingers crossed it all works out but if not I might look into other cruise lines :(

Oh No! I hope it all works out for you. I have the same fear since I have heard that it happens. Give disney a call direct, they should still be able to tell you what is happenning with that cruise even if you went through a travel agent. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Let us know how it all works out.

Thanks Tash, it will be a long wait until Monday, lol.

I don't have an international calling plan on my phone either so imagine the call will cost me a bomb!!

I always buy a $10 international phone card from the post office or newsagent when I'm booking a US holiday, my current one is 0.5c/min, so it only costs me a few cents for each call. It's worth it!

Good luck with the cruise, I think it sucks that the cruise lines can do this, I frequent the big cruise forum and it seems to happen on a regular basis :confused3

The cruise line phone centre is open from 9am to 8 pm all weekend. Not sure where in the US they are to work out time difference ( east coast?) but you can probably call now.

Oooh a calling card sounds like a good idea!!

My TA got back to me and she is going to call them. She hasn't had any notification that it has been cancelled so that is something :)

That looks like a good sign.

I dont think I have an international plan on my phone, I just have the basic telstra plan on my home phone and I was really surprised how cheap it actually was to call. Even though I do all my research online, I do usually call hotels, etc to see if there are better deals and make the booking over the phone. I have even been on hold with disney for a while and I was only charged a few dollars. I was panicking because I needed to speak to them but was dreading how much it was going to cost me, I think it was about 20 mins, if not more. it was a nice surprise.

Still hoping you get to find out quickly and its good news.

So I just got an email back from DCL saying,"At this time your cruise has not been cancelled. Should it be cancelled your travel agent will receive notification."

This is code for, "We're not sure if we are going to cancel it but we'll let you know." Right?!

I get it from their business perspective but darn it's annoying on my side, lol!
