Oh no!

Just realized that the monorail doesn't start to run until 8 am (I think...??), and that our ADR for Akershus is at 8:10 am...

We will be coming from the Poly, and we will walk to the TTC to be on the very first monorail to Epcot, but we still won't be able to make it, will we?
A taxi isn't an option as we are a party of 8, with an infant and no carseat.

What should I do? I just checked if I could bump the reservation back, but nothing is available until hours later.

Do I have to cancel?

Talk to the concierge at the Poly...I know there will either be a bus or an earlier resort monorail. The resorts are always helpful in getting you to your character breakfast on time.

You should be able to take a bus, right?

Each Resort has a Transportation Coordinator. Find and talk to that person at least the evening before and you will be given the best information. If need be, that person can make special arrangements for you.

We always do before-opening breakfasts - there are character meal buses (they literally say character breakfast on the lighted sign) that show up starting 90-60 minutes before park opening to get you there. I haven't had any troubles in more than 5 trips, but I wouldn't cut it closer than an hour before your time. We've also had bus drivers who are there early for park riders take us since their buses are empty. Check with the concierge to see what time the character breakfast buses start running.

I take the bus to all of our early reservations. Just plan 1 hour tho to get there. It takes a few minutes to reach Norway. Good luck and happy eating..Princess interaction is awesome
