I can't find my DVC member cards. I put them somewhere so safe and secure that now I can't remember where I put them :scared1:! Can these be easily replaced? I will keep looking for them because I also have my AP with them and my Rainforest Cafe card so I need to find them. Worst case scenario, if I can't find them before our Oct trip (I know it's so far away and I'm already freaking out) can I get a replacement for my DVC card?

And the AP, I can get that replaced, right?

TIA!

Your DVC cards can be replaced on-the-spot at the sales center counter at SSR.

Your APs can be replaced at any ticket window if you have all of your IDs with you. It HELPS if you have the CC number they were purchased with and even better, the numbers off the back. You did write them down, didn't you? ;)

What's a RFC card?

All you need to get an AP replaced is a driver's license. They'll reissue whatever pass you need, cancel the old ones and you are good to go. You only need the numbers off the back for non-annual passes.

I think RFC charges a fee to replace the card, seems like it's $5 if I recall.

You can also call Member Services and they will send a replacement card when they produce the next batch. I think it took about 3 weeks.

Good to know about the SSR option.

Not to worry -- they'll turn up (or you can get them replaced) -- once you relax about them, you will come across them, or remember where they are (maybe at 3 a.m.).

On the fridge? In your jewelry box? Desk? In the freezer? Top drawer of dresser? Already in that spare pocket in your wallet? The pack you always take to the Parks? Car glove compartment? Planning binder/notebook? Mantel? Table by front door?

It's always good to copy down (take digital photo of, etc.) numbers on such things and keep them in two or three places as a back-up.

Yes, they can all be replaced.:goodvibes
I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one that places important items in 'special places' and then can't remember what those places were.

In the middle of the night you will probably remember that special place you put them.

Good to know. They've just always told us to write our AP numbers down so I took them at face value. :)

I know that. LOL

What is it and what's it for? :confused3

Thanks everyone for your feedback, I'm relieved it will be easy to replace. Hopefully it will show up soon.

The RFC card you buy at the Rainforest Cafe (I think it was $15) and it gets you a free appetizer or a % off your meal, forget the exact % maybe 15%, and it also get's you priority seating, you go in a separate line and usually get seated immediately instead of having to wait in line if there is one. I have used mine quite a bit, here in MA, in Vegas and of course in WDW so it has definitely payed for it's self and then some.

Mecllap - thanks for the suggestions, I will definitely check those places out.

Thanks again!!

^^^hope you find them soon...I've done the same thing...usually sticking them under clothing in a dresser drawer....then "forget" which one;) so I'm messing up all my stuff looking for them:confused3....probably as soon as you call to order replacement cards they will turn up
