Oh no...Peggy got another job

I am so sad. I just went to Peggy's website to check and see if she had any Halloween merchandise on it yet, and she has a note that she has been blessed with a wonderful teaching opportunity and is no longer taking any more orders.

Congratulations to Peggy! But a little sad for those of us who looked forward to her magical baskets...

Don't worry--she states in her note that she will of course fill all of her existing orders.

I am just bummed I didnt get mine ordered last week like I wanted to! I really wanted one for our trip in Sept and I loved how you could customize them with her...I spent over a week trying to finalize my order and was going to do it today. I missed the boat I guess! The other 'competitors' out there dont have the option to customize, at least not any that I found yet. If anyone knows of any...let me know!

DITTO!!! I've been preparing my order for weeks now and was going to finalize it Friday (payday). Seems I'm always a day late and a dollar short.

Peggy(FeralPeg here) made and sold gift baskets that you could have delivered to friends/family at WDW. She posted recently that she's going back to teaching and therefore has to stop the basket business. SHe's had many clients here on the DIS!

Oh what a bummer!! I was going to surprise my DH with a basket for our September trip...especially since we just found out some news today that is making our adoption process come to a screeching halt. We both just really needed a pick me up and I thought this to be a great opportunity.

Peggy was giving one free basket a month to the first PM to a special post she starts.I was so lucky to be the July family and her basket was to die for. It was so cute and special- beautifully created and perfect for our family. It was so special and if this is any indication of the kind of person she is she will make a wonderful teacher!!! Congratulations Peggy!

Peggy used make/sell gift baskets that were custom made to what you picked out from her extensive list of Disney merchandise. The gift baskets would be delivered to a Disney resort. As for "September family", every month she would post a thread asking for a family traveling to WDW in a particular month. The first person to contact her with travel dates during that month would receive a free gift basket from her delivered to their resort. She would usually post in the middle of one month looking for a family who was traveling to WDW the following month. So many of us September travelers were hoping to see her "September family" post within the next few days.

We will be arriving in WDW this Fri. and I ordered a basket from Peggy for my 2 DD's. I can't wait to see it. I've seen pic's of her baskets in post and on her website and they look great.

I ordered my baskets for Oct back in April I think, long story as to why, but now I am very glad I did.

I think I will look for her email and make sure she knows I can change my delivery from Fri to Sat without a problem if Fri is a challenge because of school.

I went to post her new link/website to someone yesterday, and i opened it up to have my weekly peek. (and I am not even going until December) I was going to order 2 baskets and was so excited for it. :O( But i am just as happy for her to find a job that she wanted! good luck peggy. and if you are ever in the mood to do the odd basket, PM ME! LOLOL!
