Oh no! LOST at Epcot!!!!

Missing an episode or in my case 2 of them can mean that you have missed some important info and makes it hard to catch up!
I am hoping that my DH gets off work a little early on Wed. the 9th as we are driving to st. louis for a park and fly and MIGHT be able to make it in time for me to catch it in the hotel. If it were on at 9pm here I would have plenty of time! Then I will just have one episode to tape and watch when I return.

I agree with the previous poster. Like the dharma symbol on the shark...that's not something someone else is likely to catch you up on. Or the details of the training film...

Even if you catch up, without certain clues you'd be missing something for sure.

:) Glad to see other Lost fans around!

I don't know how far in advance they announce it, but ABC often reruns LOST on a weekend evening, or right before the new episode, so those who missed it can catch it again.

Okay - am I the only one who watches Lost and didn't know there were clues during each episode?

Probably. ;) Things like characters' names (Locke, Rousseau, Sayid...all philosophers with thoughts on the formation of societies) and things like the dharma symbol on the shark. Things like Walt's apparition whispering to Shannon and what he said, etc. Other characters showing up in other characters' flashbacks, or things like Locke mentioning he worked in a box company and Hurley owning one, etc.

But this is turning into a Lost discussion, better suited for another board. Hey, is there a Lost thread somewhere?

Thanks

Shel

I was in the exact same situation a few weeks ago, when the Locke and Hurley episodes air, and an episode of Desperate Housewives.

I had the same problem with missing those two shows, just those shows though, all the rest I didn't feel horrible about missing, but I was always back to my room in time. I was completely certain I didn't miss them though, planning my ADR's around them. Maybe there's another night you can see Illuminations.

This is too funny! I thought we were the only ones upset over missing Lost! Whoever thought I would be upset over minding a tv show when in Disney but...both my hubby and myself are crying over Lost! We will carry on and survive but I will miss not seeing "my" show. We'll have someone tape them and watch when we return. I laughed when another poster said "it's only a tv show" - obviously, they aren't watching the same show we are!

Yikes, I'm getting off of this train! See ya' on the news and rumor board......

Juggle your schedule if a TV show is that important to you. See IllumiNations on whatever night Lost isn't on (I honestly have no idea when it's on)

it's not. The trip schedule comes first. Again, the prob. is solved. We'll tape it at the room with a cheapie VCR. I'll gift someone with it when we are checking out. :)

Aaahhhhh...a vacation filled with my favorite things....Lost and Disney World! Isn't that what it is all about? R & R and your fav. things.....

9 Days & Counting!

We were at WDW last year...I didn't want to miss LOST sooo I stayed in to watch while the rest of my family went OUT...my DH just shook his head :confused3

Yes, there is a Lost thread, it has a lot of spoilers though. There's also a few great websites, www.lost-tv.com, www.lost.cubit.net, and www.spoilerfix.com, which has a Lost link as well as other shows like Desperate Housewives.

For Lost specifically, can't you download the episodes at 1.99 a pop from Itunes?

Yes you can. You don't have to have the new iPod to do it. Just as long as you have iTunes on your computer. The picture doesn't look so great full screen, (it's been done for the itty bitty iPod screen) but if you REALLY can't miss it, it's one solution.

I am another Lost addict, and do watch the episodes on my iPod. I did think about taking it with me, them getting the episodes I miss the next day (they are usually up by the following evening) but you know I really need to enter into the family vacation spirit thing, my DH would go apocalyptic if I pulled out my iPod in line for Splash Mountain...I am so tempted!!!

Hey, I will have 2 VCRs and 1 DVD Recorder going to capture 18 hours of Soaps, 1 Hour each of Survivor, ER, and Lost, 2 hours of Desperate Housewives. These are the ONLY TV shows I watch! I am hoping that we will be back at the house we rented to see Lost though on Weds 11/9 - I think it is doable.

WOO HOO - Leaving on Saturday Morning!!!!
