Oh NO! Chicken Pox!

We leave in 16 days and my grandson has the chicken pox. they had the shot, but he still got them. I am just worried that the older one will get them next. If you count 10 days that is cutting it close! Wish us luck!

If they have all received the vacine then it should be a much more mild case of chicken pox - both my kids received the vacine and still ended up with a very mild case - only a few "spots" and a day or 2 of fever - didn't really slow either of them down.

I hope your has a mild case and is fully recovered by the time you leave

I had chicken pox at Disney World as achild, and I survived! The main thing I remember was that my favorite food at the time was shrimp salad and they were serving it at the "new" Contemporary. I couldn't eat it and my mom said, "You must be getting sick", in a joking way, but I really was!

Both my kids had a small outbreak (they had also received the vaccine). I think they were back to normal in 5 days or so. Hope your vacation goes off without a hitch!

Usually kids who have had the vaccine have a lot quicker recovery time. My middle got them (had the shot), they lasted for 4 days, my oldest and youngest (also had shot) never got them.
