Oh my!! This is SO unfair!

I just got back from Michael's..using my 50% off coupon and they have a whole new WALL of GREAT NEW SB supplies!!!

For those of you down south of me...this may not be exciting for you because you have easier access to great SB stores, but this is the first time EVER we've had Making Memories stuff in a store!!! They had buttons and the cool shaped eyelets and brads and the metallic rectangles with words on them! And a whole wall full of 3-D type stuff specifically made for cards called The Card Collection but they are like Jolees boutique and are just SO CUTE!!!!

Had I KNOWN these would all be here, my budget could have been a little bigger

I ended up buying the flower-looking collection of eyelets ($25, but $12.50 with coupon...don't ya just love those?) and some mini-silver and gold brads. I had purchased some eyelets in January over the internet because you couldn't find them here and I just LOVE them!

Gonna go later this week maybe and buy the little hammer and another set with different colours of eyelets.

Geez...it's a good thing I am back at work now

My Michaels just got the Details II and Card Connection stuff too. Isn't it beautiful? I spent about 20 minutes in that aisle trying to convince myself that I didn't *have* to buy everything in that one trip, that it would still be there next week. I ended up buying some of the vellum tags. But I'm going to use my next coupon on something else!

They also got those in at my Micheals store here in Winnipeg! I love the variety of eyelets available! And if you use one of the 50% or 40 % coupon they are a steal! I am so glad they got some new stuff in, seems they hadn't had a change in stock in years! I also really like some of the new papers they got in.

Timon, I was eyeballing those eyelets, too. But I didn't buy them because I've never used eyelets before.

Does anyone know of a link which shows how to attach eyelets? Like - physically - HOW do you put them onto the pages?

They are so neat! Once you know it, it's simple! I was intimidated at first but it is easy. You need an eyelet setter and a hammer (I've just been using our regular big hammer).

You ALSO need a hole punch! But it is very easy and I love the effect...you can use them SO many ways! I used them on many pages in my cruise SB if you wanna see some examples. Just follow the link below!
