That was pretty much how it happened! They wanted to know if I was going to pass out I was shaking so bad. DH said "It will be fun!"I remember hearing the words "you've got two in there" just as I glanced up to see DH with (happy ) tears streaming down his face looking at the two heartbeats on the monitor. My knees began to knock uncontrollably, and the whole ride home I just kept saying over and over, "I can't believe we're having twins", LOL. They are B/G and will be 9yo in October.
Thank you all for your kind wishes and advice, I need it! DH and I were raised as only children and when DS was born it was a total learning experience. Now we thought we knew what we were doing and BAM! I will check out the twin website. Will take all your advice to heart. I will not drink large quantities of taquila! (at least not until they are born
)Nancy, the answer is NO! LOL!
Please keep the advice coming! I really am at a loss right now! (but in a good way)

Me too! I am also an only child, and I used to pretend that I had a long lost twin. I had it all worked out - mom and dad couldn't afford two, so they had to give my twin up for adoption (funny that I was never the adopted one in that scenario
