Oh my goodness! It's TWINS!

I remember hearing the words "you've got two in there" just as I glanced up to see DH with (happy ) tears streaming down his face looking at the two heartbeats on the monitor. My knees began to knock uncontrollably, and the whole ride home I just kept saying over and over, "I can't believe we're having twins", LOL. They are B/G and will be 9yo in October.
That was pretty much how it happened! They wanted to know if I was going to pass out I was shaking so bad. DH said "It will be fun!"

Thank you all for your kind wishes and advice, I need it! DH and I were raised as only children and when DS was born it was a total learning experience. Now we thought we knew what we were doing and BAM! I will check out the twin website. Will take all your advice to heart. I will not drink large quantities of taquila! (at least not until they are born ;) )

Nancy, the answer is NO! LOL! :rotfl:

Please keep the advice coming! I really am at a loss right now! (but in a good way)

Congratulations!!!!!!!

I have a twin sister and we are very very close. There is a special bond between twins.

Congrats on your twinnies! As an identical twin myself, I think it's the greatest thing ever. My Tsister is my closest friend and we still confuse people because we still are the same size and wear our hair the same and we're 45+. Enjoy!

I always wanted to be a twin. I was an only and really wanted a "built in friend" so to speak. So I had an imaginary twin sister.

Congratulations! I have three year old twins girls. We just returned from our second WDW trip last week. :)

Congratulations! We have B/G 9 year old twins. Found out the same way, a routine appointment at 10 weeks. And like you, luckily DH was with me, because I can't imagine telling him over the phone. DH looked white as a ghost when we first got the news and I remember him asking me, "How did that happen?" Duh, the old fashion way.

Our children have always been the best of friends, and although the pregnancy was a bit "larger" and the first year was a tiring one, the rewards are TOTALLY worth it. I wouldn't change a thing, have loved every minute of having twins, and they love it too.

Congratulations!

::yes:: Me too! I am also an only child, and I used to pretend that I had a long lost twin. I had it all worked out - mom and dad couldn't afford two, so they had to give my twin up for adoption (funny that I was never the adopted one in that scenario ;)) I always did envy the relationships my friends had with their siblings - but never enough to take them up on their offer to take their brother/sister home with me. :teeth:
