This BC seems off. Why would they list the 1st GIVEN name of the mother as Kate? Her name is Katherine. Tom Cruise also was born Thomas Cruise Mapother IV. He may have legally changed his last name to Cruise, but since his middle name is legally Cruise, than I don't think he is Thomas Cruise Cruise. I think he just dropped his last name for a better stage name, but his Mapother name should still be on this BC. Should the birth place of mom and dad be listed? Not just the state? Boy Massachusetts BC have oh so much more info.

IF there was a baby, we would have photos. The money for those photos alone would give some photographer a nice little payday. Believe me, I am sure the paparazzi are not slacking off, there just AIN'T NO BABY.

I don't know about the name issue, but I went to the CA vital statistics and it says anyone can get a copy of a BC but it doesn't supply all the information that a BC signed for by the parents would have. As an official record, it IS available for anyone to see, but some of the more personal, identifiable info is left off the "public" copy.
I still think TC is nuts and I'm having serious doubts about there being a baby at all. I suppose time will tell.

That's what I remember too. Brooke said she did NOT see them in the hospital but Tom sent her a bouquet of flowers.

The whole birth certificate that TMZ has also looks completely fake. Like Disney1fan pointed out, the legal names are incorrect.

I also find it extremely strange that there hasn't been 1 paparazzi shot. No blanket covered stroller with a foot sticking out. No blanket covered infant carrier, with a little hand. No helicopter shots of the baby outside in the backyard with the rest of the family. NOTHING.

Their big Getty photo shoot was canceled. Will Smith and John Travolta have both said that they haven't seen the baby.

The whole thing is WEIRD

and as I have said before... it's very strange that, even though the paparazzi was camped outside of their home for the weeks leading up to the "birth", not one of them saw them going to/from the hospital

We never saw photos of her w/o a long top on or that didn't reveal her belly. Even the vaca. photos w/her at the beach w/Tom's other kids, she had on a swimsuit that covered her whole front. Not like bikini wearing Brittney who shows off her bump!

No board of Nursing is going to release license numbers to the Tabloids AND identify an uninvolved nurse by name! What a bunch of garbage.

I can't recall signing anything with my nursing license number that I am wondering if the tabloids are calling another "identifyer" as a nursing license number that may be related to the institution. I would think most nurses don't know their license number off of the top of their heads. Who really uses it??

I don't know mine. And I probably have to use it much more than most nurses (advanced practice here, with RX authority).
I don't know about CA, but some states say "attendant" as the 'certifier' on the BC. So it can be anyone that attends the birth.

I don't know what to think about baby Suri. My thinking is Tom should get a picture out just to stop the speculation, but maybe he likes all the free publicoty this gives him. I am betting we will see a picture leak out around the time MI comes out on video.

The rumour is that he had offered pictures up for auction and the bids weren't high enough so he pulled the idea.

I just don't get how they got from the house to the hospital and back to the house again without at least one paparazzi getting a shot of it. Those guys/girls are like vultures, they'll do anything and go anywhere to get the picture.

Not to offend fans of Johnny Depp or Shania Twain, but thier kids aren't exactly "money shots". I'm sure the papparazzi never camped out in front of their homes looking for shots of newborn babies.

Especially now, 3 months after the "birth", there would absolutely HAVE to be some shot of one of them holding something. That one picture would be worth so much. There's no way this kid exists.

Odd, b/c I've read that it's Kate in other magazines/places besides People. I recall In Style doing a story on her and they said her real name was Kate! I also recall on Entertainment Tonight, they mentioned how Tom started calling her by her "given name", Kate, rather than Katie. Go figure.

If we can't figure out what her real name is ... how are we going to figure out whether she has a baby or not?!
