Tabloids are reporting that Nicole Kidman is pregnant. And she WAS pregnant back in 2000 when Tom ended the marriage. She had a miscarriage and he did not go to her at the hospital. The word at the time was he was mad because he knew it could not be his.

If they used special fertility treatments (sperm selection, etc) to get pregnant it seems kind weird because it would have been right after they met. Can you imagine him calling Katie for a second date and saying "We'll go to dinner and then harvest my sperm for insemination".

And, wasn't the problem with his first marriage to Mimi Rogers that he could not have children?

I have not been through the whole thread yet so forgive me if this has been said, I remember an interview with him a long time ago where I thought Barbara Walters asked if he was sterile and I thought he admitted it. That is why I could never understand how this whole thing came about. I always knew he could not have kids and if Nicole is pg now then well......something was not right in that marriage. I was just wondering though how could Nicole stay with him all those years. She was a star in her own right and did not need him to put her in the limelight.

There is no baby. They just have to let enough time pass until they come out and admit it.

I'm thinking they're letting enough time pass to find another baby or have one that is the wrong age at the moment get a little older looking and be handed over for them to pass as theirs.

Over here, Nicole got her "star status" only after she left Tom Nutcase Cruise. Before, she was just the "wife of", only after that, she was someone herself, and made some great movies. I can't think of that many movies I know starring her from when she was with him, other than Far and Away.

You see, that is just the thing. THEY ARE there, following, camping out, waiting. WAITING to snap even a glimpse of a baby. There is nothing. No baby. 85 days and counting, and that poor baby has not breathed a breath of fresh air.

Like someone else posted, we ALWAYS at some point see a celeb mom or dad with their baby. Whether they like it or not. No matter how much they want to keep their kids out of public view, life still goes on, and they take their kids OUT. Michael J Fox was very private about his kids when they were little, but I still remember seeing pictures of them out in public. Not very good pics, but enough to see they are his kids. Heck, we even have seen pics of Madonna with her babies!

Not me, but if I ever find myself hiking in Colorado, I am packing a camera. You never know if one might stumbled upon Katie breastfeeding on a trail. I could pay off my mortgage and buy a nice DVC contract with the money I could get for that picture!

Oh my gosh! Did you guys look at these pics?! There is no way a baby can shrink like that! And then the way she is walking in that shopping video is just not the slow stride of a prego woman.....I think they are definately waiting for a scientology follower to hand over a baby.

Now I am not an expert on any of this, but I thougth that scientology forbid any kind of medical treatments?? wouldn't fertility treatments fall in that area?

WOW! maybe you need to be a millionaire to buy them, but how come I could never wear jeans like that being 6,7,8 months preganant? She has some pretty figure flattering jeans on, I did not know they MADE those kind of maternity jeans.

The March 25th picture of her, her belly is poking straight out, I have a friend who carried like that. Look how round her belly is in April, the Barney's video. My friend's belly never rounded out like that. Especially just a few weeks later.

Under normal circumstances, we could laugh it off, but think about it. In response to the jeans...they make very stylish maternity jeans now. I've seen many stars wearing cute ones They make a lot more than the blue band unflattering kind these days! Also...IMO Katie has always had that sad look. Even when she was on Dawson's Creek...there was a sadness to her face. I think it's something with her eyes. Of course now she looks more sad and messy all the time.

I wonder what her parents think of all this.

Her smile looks so fake and plastered on. She is young and I think she got overwhelmed by the rush job Tom gave her and fell into his plan hook, line and sinker, especially if she was pregnant and had no relationship with the father of the baby. I mean which one of us wouldn't have jumped at the chance to "date" our school girl crush (heck I'd still be all gushy if I got to meet Donny Osmond!).

If you do a google search, you can find numerous references to the interview. Some people are just jerks and don't think about what they are actually saying. I remember when the interview first happened, it was all over the TV. People couldn't believe he would actually say those things. He's a pompous @$$

Can you imagine spending 5 years with him? No wonder she's with Cruise. I feel so bad for her.
