Thanks for all the dancing gang!!! What a fun day to celebrate!!! And it only gets better tomorrow when that darn little ticker no longer says months but DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ahhhhhh.......I can't wait!

For both good and bad reasons unfortunately! They both have been getting in my way of trip planning, so sorry for the delay! Let's start with the good, shall we?!?!?!

On Friday, June 24th, our family welcomed one more member as Tom's brother welcomed his first child into the world!!! Needless to say, we were all so excited!!! Can you tell????

Prior to Ian's arrival, Megan was the only grandchild on Tom's side of the family, and the baby grandchild on my side. She is quite proud to FINALLY be the "older" cousin! Our favorite line from her came when she was holding him for the first time, and relayed that she "couldn't stop staring at him!" We have spent much time snuggling him and falling in love with him over the past few days....and now I wonder how we will go 10 DAYS without seeing him!??!?!!? We will have to stock up on snuggles before we leave!!!

Now, we come to the bad reasons we have visited the hospital lately......for me! The only reason I would even mention this on the PTR is that it might actually impact our trip....UGH! It all started a couple of weeks ago when some "normal" pains I have become accustomed to experiencing in my lower abdomen, actually intensified....QUITE rapidly!!! I was taken in, put through a series of intensive ultrasounds, and discovered that I have a large cyst developing on the outside of my left ovary. Right now, they are going to try to treat with a series of different medications--one to try to correct the cystic and endometrial problems, and one to help alleviate the pain. At this point, they are going to try to hold off on surgery to see if the meds work. Now, how might this impact the trip?!?!?! Well, (I will try to put this as politely as I can) at some point during our TEN DAY vacation, the unfortunate monthly "visitor" may arrive. (I am PRAYING that it actually shows up towards the beginning of the week we leave for Disney). My doctor's concern is that when it arrives again, the pain may come back just as intensely as before. Now you know I am a Disney die-hard, so I am not going to let the threat of EXTREME pain stop us from having a wonderful trip. I am going to arm myself with my now arsenal of medicines, and if need be, I am going to medicate myself into a blissful coma of "happiness" to get myself through the pain. I hate that our perfectly planned trip might have a slight derailment at some point for my own medical problems, but I am trying to stay as optimistic as possible about the entire thing! Say some prayers and wish for some pixie dust that I get through it without any complications!!!

Now when I last left you all, I had some serious shopping to do!!! Of course, the hospital trips have put a slight damper on that situation, but I have still rallied on as best as possible!

We found Megan some great athletic sandals at JCPenney for the trip....

They will be a great second option for her tootsies in case she gets tired of her gym shoes.

I have been doing some snooping for tops for myself, and have discovered some GREAT news....I have dropped down two sizes at least on tops! It has opened up so many options out there for me, because I can now find my size in any misses' section because I no longer need a plus size!!! For those of you who have dealt with this battle, you know what a victory that is!!! I haven't purchased anything yet, but have lined up quite the perspective purchases. I should have that taken care of this evening...will post pictures as soon as possible!

I still need to get Megan another swim suit, but we have been having a difficult time finding something she really likes....we are about to run out of time, so she might just have to make a compromise!!!

Coming up next: Shall we make some LISTS?!?!!?

Oh Jen.....I know from personal experience how painful that pain is...I have suffered from the same problems myself. I hope everything works out ok! Just be sure to take it easy and dont put too much physical strain on yourself.

But what lovely news about your new arrival! Babies just make everything seem wonderful! I bet he is super adorable! There just aren't enough snuggles in the world when there's a newborn around!

And congrats on dropping sizes! That is awesome!

I hope that everything is ok with you and that the meds work so that you don't need surgery. No fun having that particular "visitor" on vacation.

Congrats on the size droppage!!! I know exactly what you mean about being able to shop in the "normal" misses section! I have lost 28 lbs and it feels SO good to buy a reg size 16 instead of plus. Not sure if you're an Old Navy fan, but they have great stuff for not a lot of money. I like one of their beater tanks underneath a v-neck t. CUTE!!!
I can't wait to see your bargains! And can I just say that I'm at 48 days? Not as close as you guys, but I'm almost at 6 weeks. So here's a for you and a for me!!!

Thank you for the support on the pain control! I am praying for at least some relief for those 10 days! I am hoping that I won't need the assistance of a wheelchair/ecv, but glad to know they are there in case I need it!!! Keeping my fingers crossed!
