Today was my first Saturday in 4 MONTHS to actually sleep in. I was really looking forward to it.
Cheerleading and basketball are over so I could finally have a relaxing day. well 7 AM and Cam comes in with a plate of pancakes and a cup of coffee so proud of himself for making me breakfast in bed.
It was so sweet but I really wanted to sleep in.
I got up though and made a big deal of it and praised him quite a bit but in my mind Im thinking J is still asleep why couldnt he have made daddy breakfast??
Im such a heal, I just want go back to bed!

He really is a good kid. And yes he did clean up after himself which makes him a VERY good kid
Oh well at least I didnt act on it. I got up and tried really hard to show him how much I appreciated his thoughtfulness.
Don't be so hard on yourself. I agree with MAKmom.
This morning my 6yo woke me up a little too early to tell me, "Mom, it's really hilarious, but all 4 cats are in the dining room". Of course I was thinking, "who gives a flip where the cats are?", but I didn't tell him that at the time. I did tease him about waking me up to tell me about them, though. But it wasn't breakfast in bed that he woke me for!
