Oh M, Oh My...

We don't leave for 3 1/2 weeks and I've already started packing.

Anyone else guilty of this?

Actually, I don't feel guilty. I feel like I have enough time to get everything that I need together and hopefully this way I won't have to run out at the last minute!

I cannot wait......our trip is around the corner, now!

Don't feel bad, we leave in 49 days and I have also started packing and buying things for the trip. I find that the closer it gets, the more excited I get.

I like packing ahead of time - gives me plenty of time to get everything in order!

We don't leave until April 2004, but I am going to search Walmart for those Misterbottles/fans!

I leave in less than 2 days!!! 36 hours, to be exact.... and I just started packing today!!!!!!!!! lol
and I ordered new running sneakers and they havent come yet, I will be a prisoner at home waiting for them to arrive all day tomorrow! and if they dont come...I will be going to WDW in old, shot running sneakers !!!
luckily I have my mickey tennis shoes, and some comfy sandals to help me out!
I have put many many miles on my sneakers, and my poor feet are crying for new ones! they are crying right now just thinking about 10 miles tomorrow morning in those!

sorry I babbled...had to get it off my chest ! (I just hung up w/the company they are overnighting another pair, but i still cant be guaranteed they'll get here by tomorrow!!!)

When you start your search for the misters at Wal-mart, look in the hardware dept. I found the first one that I bought at the end of an aisle and the 2nd time I bought one they were way up on the top shelf (both in the hardware dept. but not in the same area - I guess they move things around).

this will save me some work. I swear I have never went into our Walmart and have someone correctly tell me where something is. However, you still can't beat them for pricing.

We are very excited about Chase's first trip to WDW. He loves Pooh and Mickey and I can't wait to see how he acts at our character meals. We're doing Cindy's Crystal Palace, Donald's Breakfast at AK and I want to try and sneak in 'Ohana for breakfast. We really are soooooooo excited. He's also getting his very first haircut on Main Street at the Barber shop! We cannot wait!!!

3 weeks? You're late. When we go on our winter vacations, I'm packed at least a month away. (you don't wear shorts in the winter where I live0

In a sense, I never unpack....I have a dedicated "Disney" bag filled with such things as sunscreen, autograph books, sharpie markers, misters, etc.,. I start adding more things to it as soon as we plan our next trip. It helps me from getting depressed when our trip is over!!!

I am sure Chase will love his trip! This is our oldest son's fourth trip (he is 4) and our youngest son's first trip (he'll be nine months)!!! We've done most of the character meals you mentioned (except Ohana's) and our son loved them all!!! Just hoping our baby will love the characters as much as our oldest!!!

PS I found misters with fans last year at Target on one of the clearance aisles. They were marked down to $2.49.

I don't pack, but a month ahead of time I start making a pile of things in one corner of my bedroom. I also make a check list to make sure nothing is forgotten.

We started packing weeks ago. Other than DW's cloths, we are done and still have a week to go. That should be enough time to load the car, don't you think?

Also guilty of packing early. DH can't find things he needs and I say Oh, I packed that! Taking DGS for first trip and also a haircut!! His first on Main Street. Can't wait!!!!!!!

I keep a spreadsheet on my pc of all the things we need to pack then print it off and use it as a checklist. So I guess while I don't keep things packed, I'm ready to go to WDW at a moments notice. I started gathering things about 3 weeks in advance but have to be careful this time because the kids don't know they're going yet. They might figure it out if they see me packing all their Disney t-shirts.
