Oh, Justin Bieber

Oh yes. The true tragedy of the Holocaust. The victims didn't get to hear the artistry of the musical Poet Laureate that is Sir Justin Bieber

Clueless. Completely clueless.

DD18 just told me last night that he is taking real heat on Tumbler due to this. She said it looks like he has lost quite a few of his fans. Looks like he is digging his own grave. Celebrities come and go so quickly. Looks like his time in the limelight might soon be over all due to his stupidity.

Well he did what he wanted, promoted himself.:crazy2:

Unfortunately you went too far Mr. Bieber. He days are numbered and he knows it.

My dd's are not the Bieber type.

I have never liked him and have always thought he was an arrogant little jerk. But this is a new low, even for him. He should be ashamed of himself. I hope he fades away into the "former child stars, where are they now" category really soon.

OK, I'll admit it: I'm judging.

To make a comment like that just shows such an appalling lack of common sense, of a sense of history, or an understanding of what the Holocaust was...

He should be embarassed, as should his parents, his teachers, his fans and his next door neighbor.
You forgot his dog :lmao:

I don't care what anyone thinks of his musical or artistic ability. (And, no, none of my kids are fans. But his music isn't offensive; I wouldn't care if they chose to listen to it. )

But for anyone over the age of 8 to sprout such idiocy is abominable.

I hope someone has the good sense to spill some White Out over the comments. Not to protect his reputation, but to spare all the Holocaust survivors, and the families of all those who died, of the knowledge that any adult on this planet could take their suffering so lightly.

:cool1:

While I don't agree with his statement, now thousand if not more are looking up and finding out about Ann Frank and her story. Many girls / fans may have gotten inspired to read her book and discover for themselves what the holocaust was about. That is the positive spin I'd like to see from this rather unfortunate incident.

that doesn't bother me as much as the pictures they have of him rough housing with a friend in the house

I saw those.

As a side note (from http://www.annefrank.org/en/Museum/Practical-information/Frequently-asked-questions/Museum/#12)

Is photography permitted in the Anne Frank House?

No, you are not allowed to take photos in the Anne Frank House. For many visitors, a visit to the Anne Frank House is an emotional experience, which could be disturbed by photography and filming. In addition, there are two practical reasons for not permitting photography and filming. Firstly, it restricts the flow of visitors through the museum. This can be very inconvenient, especially at busy times. Secondly, photography and filming could be harmful to the sometimes fragile original artefacts in the Anne Frank House, with Anne Frank's original diary being the most obvious example.

Check out what some "Belieber's" wrote on the Anne Frank House Facebook page.

Buzzfeed

I think any company or organization putting up a FB page is doing so to attract a younger audience and expects some of those kinds of comments. Like a PP said, this just brings more attention to the museum and to the holocaust, which is a good thing.

yeah, I'm back in "he's only a kid" mode about this one.

I've heard he's called to apologize to Clinton. Wonder if he apologized to the worker bee who had to clean up his piss.
