What a tool.
Justin Bieber went to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. In a truly stunning display of what it's like to live in Justin Bieber's head, he wrote in the guest book, "Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber." I am both pained and deeply amused.
Next will be the inevitable rallying of his fan base in his defense. This got me thinking: do any you have children--or know any--who are Beliebers? And if so, have his European antics made any difference? Between the shirtlessness and the concert tardiness and the nightclub bans and the monkey, I'm starting to wonder if he's about to face a backlash.
(For the record, I'm not judging. Well, actually, I am judging him, but not his young fans--I own far too many albums by Ace of Base to make any comment on adolescent music tastes.)
True.
But the problem is that he's 19. (I just checked.) He's an adult, not a middle schooler.
At some point, doesn't ignorance become embarassing??
I think Brittany Spears and Lindsey Lohan have proven otherwise. At least it doesn't seem to embarrass THEM.
And to Justin...

LOL!!
Fact is that as a teenager, it's safe to say we all say things we shouldn't at that age. But he IS in the limelight and needs to learn some diplomacy, and with all his 'antics' he comes off as a selfish jerk. He managed to make a visit to a historic landmark about HIMSELF. Instead of saying what a humbling experience it was, he ungratefully chose to self promote, showing his 'beliebers' his true egocentric self.

That is priceless
My dd has never been a fan.
He looks like the spawn of Vanilla Ice......but he would be make even Vanilla Ice cringe.
He was trying so hard to be bad. I swear, one of his bodyguards was trying in vain to stifle a grin while "holding him back."
At 13, she knows he is a joke. And at age 5, she behaved better at The Anne Frank House when we visited there.OK, I'll admit it: I'm judging.
To make a comment like that just shows such an appalling lack of common sense, of a sense of history, or an understanding of what the Holocaust was...
He should be embarassed, as should his parents, his teachers, his fans and his next door neighbor.
I don't care what anyone thinks of his musical or artistic ability. (And, no, none of my kids are fans. But his music isn't offensive; I wouldn't care if they chose to listen to it. )
But for anyone over the age of 8 to sprout such idiocy is abominable.
I hope someone has the good sense to spill some White Out over the comments. Not to protect his reputation, but to spare all the Holocaust survivors, and the families of all those who died, of the knowledge that any adult on this planet could take their suffering so lightly.
CaliBear said:As for the Biebs, I used to defend him, not because I care one way or the other about his music, but because he's a kid- yes, even at 19, he is still an adolescent regardless of what the law says.
But I am growing tired of him. He needs to practice silence for awhile.
