Awwww what a great wrap up .... I loved hearing how your dad picked the perfect resort for your family! I didn't know how much I would love BLT before our first trip but we've been back 5 times since then and stayed all or part of our trip at BLT again!! (Yeah, pretty much obsessed!)

I love the reminders of how blessed you and your family were during the entire trip - what amazing memories for you and your family!! One of my favorites was you and piglet at CP! You matched in pink - so adorable!

Thank you so much! Yeah, my dad made an excellent choice! My goal is to stay at every Disney resort at least once, but man, I wish I could pull off a stay at BLT every trip too! I have a feeling that whenever (and if ever) my whole family goes back, we won't be staying anywhere else! We just love it SO MUCH.

We really did have a wonderful trip. It was definitely my favorite Disney trip/family vacation so far! Aww thank you! I had to match my favorite Piglet! I just love him so much. Thanks again for reading!!!

TWO MONTHS UNTIL DISNEY!!!!!!

Juuuuuuust kidding. But really, TWO MONTHS. I don't even know how that happened. This countdown is already flying by, but at the same time it needs to fly FASTER. Goodness.

So this update is just 'informational' I guess. (That sounds REALLY boring. Hopefully it won't be.)

FIRST OF ALL...

Remember my love for guessing games?

Yeah. That hasn't gone anywhere.

Last time, I did a "GUESS THAT ADR" game, which I thought was a lot of fun. (And I'm so flattered that several of you have done the same on your PTRs! Although I must say that Shannon's version puts mine to shame. )

Well, this is a different kind of trip than last time. It's not a family trip, and I won't be doing the Disney Dining Plan. Because of this (and to save some money) I only made two ADRs.

(I actually have three reservations, but only two of them that I made. WHAT?! Yeah, the mystery starts early on.)

Since I'm only going to a few table service restaurants, guessing ADR's would just not be as fun. I mean, you feel free to guess all you want, but that won't be part of the game.

THIS TIME, yall (as in, whoever wants to participate) will be guessing resorts, quick service restaurants I plan on going to, snacks I might want to get, and my must-meet characters.

YEAH. TAKING IT UP A NOTCH.



(That's the most hardcore smiley I could find.)

Here's how it will work.

First, I'll let yall guess my resort(s). I'll give clues, but they won't be obvious clues.

Next up will be quick service restaurants! There won't be any clues, because there are so many QS places around Disney. It will just be random guesses!

Then, I'll give yall a list of 25 Disney Snacks, and on that list there will be a certain number of snacks that I'm interested in trying. I'll give yall a certain number of guesses.

Lastly, you can guess my must-meet characters. The only clue here will be this: Most of them are characters I haven't had a chance to meet yet!

So, does that sound fun? Instead of 'Guess that ADR' this game should probably be called like... 'Guess my Disney Trip.'

I won't be updating TOO often, and the game won't start until I post the NEXT update. Updates will probably be coming every two weeks or so (since I have two months to fill).

ALSO, if you want to find all of the PTR posts, you can either go to the very first post in the thread to my list of links, or you can go to the top of page 93 where the first PTR post is and go from there.

SO YEAH! I hope yall are ready for the game! I'll post more specifics with each round of the game. Until then, feel free to continue to guess the resort! Some people already have, which is totally okay. The guesses you make before the game starts won't count against you!

I wonder that too. So far my longest trip has been five nights... CLEARLY not enough! This coming trip will be SEVEN! That seems like so much to me so I can't wait!

Disney Guessing Game...
Round 1!

It’s time for round 1 of the guessing game: RESORTS!

For this round of the game, you will automatically get five points just for guessing. You'll see why in a minute.

Something I haven’t yet mentioned about this trip is that I’ll be doing a split stay! I am SO excited about it. I’ve always wanted to do a split say, and this will be my first! When I was first planning this trip I went back and forth (and back and forth… and back and forth again) about 27,000 times before I FINALLY decided on what to do. The only thing I knew for certain was that I HAD to do a split stay.

As you may know, I have set a goal for myself to stay at every Disney resort at least one time. So far, I’ve stayed at four of them, and so far I haven’t stayed at any resorts more than once. I have to say, I LOVE doing it like this. I have enjoyed every resort I’ve stayed at so far, but knowing I’ll be experiencing a new resort adds to the excitement for me! I’m sure that I’ll eventually have to do a repeat stay before I stay at all the resorts, but for now it’s fun to switch it up every time! It allows me to experience everything that Disney has to offer!

I will be staying at TWO new resorts this trip. I can’t wait!

Okay, so why will you automatically get five points just for playing? WELL, one thing I didn’t mention before is that I won’t be revealing the answers until the very end.

I know, I know. Evil.

BUT ISN’T THIS SO MUCH FUN?!?!? Waiting is part of the fun! Right?!

RIGHT?!?!?!

Okay… maybe it’s just fun for me. Yall will forgive me in due time, I’m sure.

So the reason for the ‘bonus’ points is so I can throw you off the scent.

OKAY, so before I confuse myself AND you, here’s how the point system will work for this first round of the game.

You will get:

5 points just for playing

3 points for guessing the wrong resort but right category (Example: if you guessed All Star Movies but the correct resort was All Star Music.)

7 points for each resort you guess correctly


I’ll be giving yall the rundown of each of your point tallies at the halfway point of the game. This way, it won’t be giving anything away prematurely, because you won’t know which answers you got right. You’ll just know how many points you have. At the end of the game, whoever has the most points will win!

(And in the event of a tie... I’ll think of SOMETHING.)

Make sense? Good gosh, I hope so! Either that or I just created the most confusing game ever. We’ll see!

OKAY!!!!! So now that THAT is out of the way, here are the resort clues!

1. Both resorts are new to me.
2. I have never even set foot on the property of either of them. (This clue will only come in handy if you’ve REALLLLLY been paying attention to my trip reports!!!)
3. The two resorts are NOT in the same category (value, moderate, deluxe, deluxe villa).
4. At least one of the resorts is in a new-to-me area of WDW. (Example: Last time I stayed at Bay Lake Tower, a Magic Kingdom area resort.)
5. The two resorts have similarities, but you have to REALLY be looking for them.

OKAY! So that’s it! You get just two guesses for this round. This round will end next Monday (April 8) so until then, good luck!!!
