Ooooo... Tusker House looks really good. I see Mickey Waffles! I was thinking about that place as a restaurant to check out in AK since I didn't look into there too much. The Oatmeal, the Apple Crisp and the Potatoes look delicious! Great character photos too, I love the one where Mickey is looking out the window, looks like he is searching for Wildlife =D

Glad to hear you liked Expedition Everest! I was apprehensive when I first went on that ride, but it's now my favorite ride. It seems the rides that scare me the most on my first ride are my favorites I'm strange.

Awwww... I love your pictures at Camp Minnie Mickey! So sweet of Miss Bunny to give you a flower, very cute And that's great you got to meet Minnie and Donald since you didn't get pictures with them at Tusker House or saved pictures with them.

Oooo... FotLK looks really fun, I definitely want to go see it and that's cool they pick one person to represent each section, my goal will totally to be picked in my first show

Oh and with everest i thought I was going to hate it, but it's now my favorite!

I've been trying and trying to get an ADR for Tusker House on our next trip, but no luck. Sadly, your pictures make it look very good.

I love Everest, too, but I much prefer the front to the back. Did you try the front this trip?

Tusker House is GREAT! you should keep trying to get an ADR there!
We did try the front on a later day in the trip..it's so much fun!

Day 4 - Part 2

So when I last left off, like a year ago, we just got out of the Festival of the Lion King show. After we got out of that, we met up with DMom and DDad.
We took a few pictures of the Tree of Life:

Then we decided to head out..it was very hot and Animal Kingdom just seems so much hotter than all of the other parks despite all of the shady areas.
Before we left we went to Island Mercantile. There I bought a Yeti 'Pook-a-Looz'..they were all 40% off so it was only like 6 dollars.

After Island Mercantile, we got those frozen pineapple ice pops! They are very good and very refreshing!!
Then we exited the park. When we were almost at the bus stop (and this walk from the exit to the bus stop is THE HOTTEST walk in all of WDW) I decided I wanted to ride Expedition Everest a few more times because we didn't think we were coming back to Animal Kingdom for the rest of the trip. So, DSis and I went back into the park and walked all the way back to Expedition Everest. We rode on the single rider line, which had almost no wait at all! We rode three times this time around making the grand total for the day 5 times!!! I love this ride so much.
After our rides we then exited the park for good. We wound up waiting about 20-25 minutes for a bus, which is the longest we had waited all trip. But soon we were on the bus and then back at the hotel (but not before stopping at Blizzard Beach to pick up the one person waiting there ).
We got back to the hotel room to meet back up with DMom & DDad.
They were watching golf (Go Rory McIlroy! )

IDK, golf must've been boring DSis or Animal Kingdom must have tuckered her out...

After DSis' nap we went over to Hollywood Studios for the evening. We wanted to see the Beauty and the Beast show and see the American Idol finale.
We hopped on a bus over there and soon we were there! it's a short bus ride from POFQ to DHS.

We wanted to eat dinner at ABC Commissary, but first we stopped to see the little statues the have of some actors.

Desi Arnaz, DMom took this. She loves 'I Love Lucy'. I told her I would've taken a picture of her with the statue, but she said no.
Then we were back on track to ABC Commissary! Outside the restaurant they play theme songs from ABC TV shows and they played none other than the Bewitched theme!! So exciting.
Then we went inside. The whole family got the hamburgers with fried shrimp on top and chocolate mousse for dessert. They give you so much food, but it's great!

The chocolate mousse was SO good! I loved it!!

Then we looked around in some of the shops before heading to the Beauty and the Beast show:

Then we went to secure our seats for the Beauty and the Beast show because we saw a huge camp/tour group starting to gravitate towards the theater.

I forget what time the show was actually over, but it was getting close to the Idol finale time, so we went over there after taking this picture:

That picture was taken when all of the Idols come on the screen and say their hometown..we saw that video about a million times while waiting.
They finally let us in the theater after lots of silliness and videos.

I forget who sang what or who won, but I think this was the night somebody sang 'Independence Day' by Martina McBride. I think she won, but I'm not sure. She was really good!
When the show let out I thought it would be dark out, but it wasn't because I wanted to see the Streets of America at night, but we went anyway.
On the way we saw Jedi Training going on:

New York.

Then we walked from NY all the way to San Fransisco!

Then back to NY:

Then we went over to the Writer's Stop, just because we've never been in it before.

It's really nice inside. They have a lot of books. DMom bought a Lucille Ball autobiography here and she's actually in the middle of reading it now.
The bakery looked great, but we were still full from ABC Commissary.

But we weren't too full for a Raspberry Lemonade slush! We headed over to Pixar Place to get these before heading out.
We got back to the hotel room not so late, but DSis was tired: HAHA

AK does always feel like the hottest park. Riding Everest over and over sounds like so much fun! My personal limit for Everest is three times in a row. More than that and I start to feel too Everest-y.

Your dinner at ABC Commissary looks pretty good. I used to like the burger at ABC Commissary, but I thought the shrimp burger sounded weird. It looks like the shrimp is just on top, though, so maybe that would be fine.

I think it could be 20 degrees and still feel hot at AK! The writer's stop looks so cute! when trying ot find my last stoppign point onthis TR, i saw mention of an interactive queue at PP? By the way- the biscuits and gravy at Tusker is VERY yummy!
