I'm fighting w/ the pharmacy for DH's meds... they say they don't have the authorization..doctors office said yes, we got their approval at 1030AM on 1/31...and here goes the cycle... I'm ready to really give it to someone.. I could warm up on your DH's boss...

sure, give him a buzz. He's day is gonna get worse too. They broke the machine in Belgium and they want DH to go fix it, and a different guy wants to send him to Japan next week.

Do you have to get Pre-approval every month for the same meds??? Hello people do you see a pattern here????? OY!!!

NO, it's only yearly...but the whole thing started when I confirmed our out of pocket for every month to meet our out of pocket for the year..cause I ain't come up w/ a lump sum.... they told me there wasn't one.. I said yes there is.. now they are still trying to figure it out.. they have 1 week... and that is 2weeks til the script runs out for his meds...and if he goes even 1 day without meds I'm gonna go nuts.. there is NO reason.. they should have had this going on day 1 in Jan (well, the day they return to work)... this is there fault not ours.. I told them their job...

As for broken machine in Belgium.. uh, it wasn't that long ago that he was fixing that in 07...

I'm fighting with my insurance right now as well since my doctor is trying to prescribe meds for me that insurance won't cover. They say he needs to give me something different but the something different doesn't work. I had SERIOUS words on Friday and it gets to start again today.

Stupid, idiotic insurance and pharmacy morons. Thank goodness my doctor is so fabulously patient.

Just confirmed DD is dressing for A team tonight...and I can't be there.. DS7 is still under the weather.. luckily a friend of mine is going so she is going to give me updates since it's not really a good idea for DD to give me the play-by-play via the phone while she is playing.... LOL

noise level is good. The phone has been ringing off the hook as word is spreading. DH is smiling, that is a HUGE improvement over yesterday.

I'm dealing with an idiot doctor's office too. Thursday night, went to the urgent care clinic. I never get sick so I don't have a PCP. After this mess, I'm getting one, I promise!

I was diagnosed with a chest infection, throat infection and double ear infections. Doctor gives me an inhaler, cough syrup and a z-pack. Z-pack makes me sick. throwing up sick. Though the first night was because of a double dose. Nope, happened again Friday night. Called Saturday, didn't get a return call. Figured they were closed. Called at 8:30 this morning. Left a message. Called at 1 left a message. Call again 25 minutes ago and waited on hold for 20 minutes to be to told that they can't change the antibiotic without seeing me again because the ear infection may be viral. UM HELLO? IT TURNED VIRAL OVER THE COURSE OF 3 DAYS???

I'm now going to a DIFFERENT clinic tonight because I don't trust those morons

i agree 100%. its stinks that you all are having to fight for what's right. the pharmacy people...really... "do your job"! i cant tell you how many times a day i'd like to say that to people.
and shauna, fighting with the insurance people? they act like its coming out of their pocket. really. "do your job"!
and faeire, having to go AGAIN! why couldn't they figure that out days ago. really. "do your job"!

DH will be doing the same thing that he is now, just with better people. He is really excited.
Do Your Job is a slogan his old company needs to learn. They do just enough to get by and that bugs the crud out of DH.

So we are on to bigger and better things! YAY!!!

And just for the record, I hate dealing with insurance!!! We were on COBRA when DD was born (because DH quit this same job cause I almost didn't make it) it took a whole year to get that mess straighten out. And the DR office was ticked because I wouldn't pay them.
