I am such a huge WDW fan and having been there so many times, I can not believe I did not know about this tour - or even see it around MK. Anyway, I just read about it last night when I was looking for something else on search here. As soon as I read the reviews on it I knew dd (almost 5) would LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I called the tours # and was able to get 4 of us (dd, dh, myself and MIL) the 3rd day we are there. I am not going to tell anyone - it is my little secret. I just hope it is Peter Pan and Wendy at the end as dd loves them - she is a HUGE Peter Pan fan.

Oh, only 45 more days :cool1: That is what I love about disney, you can go over and over again and there is still something new to look forward to.

We are doing this tour too for the first time :cool1:

We are always looking for something new to do each and every trip :thumbsup2

Have fun on your trip coming up!! Ours is in September :cool1:

:confused3 Can someone please tell me about this? Like when to book, how much is it, and what it is? Geez I feel stupid! :guilty: Going in August. coming soon!

Thanks a bunch!

I'm posting a link to a tour report I wrote for allearsnet.com a few years ago. I took the tour with my son and my then DBF, now DH. We've actually done the tour twice and loved it both times. We were able to get a 10% discount with our AAA card, but I think it was $25 per person when we booked it.

CAUTION: There are SPOILERS in my trip trport, so if you don't want to know what might happen, don't read it!

Enjoy!

Thankyou for your report! My daughter jenna (7 1/2) has aspergers syndrome... Do you mind if I ask you a couple of questions? How did your son take to the questions and is he very literal minded?... Jenna would be :cool1: frantic to find the clues and prevent anything from happening.....

Not to hijack this thread, but....
My son also has Aspergers. In the beginning of the tour, the CM told us about a plot by Captain Hook to make it rain all day if we couldn't follow the clues and find his missing hook. My son was very excited about helping, but was a little anxious about it, too. He is very literal minded, but the way the clues were presented made it a lot of fun for him. It's more like a treasure hunt/game. Along the way they had to name their favorite characters and walk like them, skip or jump, and try to decipher riddles in each clue. My son knows the parks very well (years of reading WDW trivia books and studying the maps!) so he was able to solve the clues very quickly. The hard part was that he was the oldest child on our last tour (he was 10 at the time) and I wanted to be sure he gave the other children a chance to answer. I think Jenna would probably do well with it. If you're comfortable with it, you could also (discreetly) tell the CM running the tour ahead of time about Jenna's special needs. We did, and the CM was very patient with my son, and made sure to let him have his moments in the spotlight!
:wizard:
The link to our last tour was when he was 10 in '03. We did it again when he was 11 in '04. I'm posting some more photos I took during the '04 tour. (Keep in mind, the characters are different from toour to tour.)

thanks for the pictures. I am so excited.

The price I think is now $27 pp but I was able to get a 20% discount using my Dinsey Visa :cool1: so for 4 of us including tax, it came to $83. I am going in August too and just called. I originally wanted it our last full day there (23rd) but they were booked. So I asked about the 17th and they had 4 openings and I snagged them up. I didn't check any other dates because it works out well since it is an EMH morning. We will hit a few rides before meeting at 9:45am. Plus by then the park is usually MOBBED on EMH days so we can just enjoy the tour and then take our afternoon break after.

I don't mind the spoilers since I have read all the reviews already. I love hearing about it. I just can't wait to see DD, DH and MIL faces. We are all kids at heart so we will be joining in. I hope we have a fun group!!

We did this in May. DD, 3, had a blast. We met Peter Pan and Wendy after and they took us to see Philharmagic. We all sat in the front row, including PP and W.

we leave for wdw in the am and have breaKFAST AT CASTLE ON SUNDAY AM AND THEN TOUR ON WED AM(MY SURPRISE FOR EVERYONE) iT SOUNDS LIKE A WHOLE LOT OF FUN. WE HAVE BEEN to wdw MANY TIMES BEFORE BUT WANTED TO DO SOMETHING NEW and different. i also hope it is pp and wendy because my one daughter is a huge tink fan and other than seeing tink from a distance(castle flight) this seems like closest we going to get.

I saw this post last night too. We booked our DS6 for the new Jester Tour at PORS. We thought it would be nice to have a little time to ourselves. I thought the Family Tour would be great, but DH is not so sure. I can't really afford to do both. What to do? What to do? I'm so confused. :confused3

Can you give a little information about the Jesters Tour? Is there any information on this anywhere? I just checked at all ears and didn't see anything, I may not have looked at the right place though.

The Family Magic Tour is great!!!!

We had a great time on the Family Magic tour several years back. Our son thought it was fun.

Thank you "dreamsofdisney"! I had already made reservations for the Family Magic Tour and just called back to inquire about the AAA discount. There is a 15% discount with a AAA card! Every little bit saved is extra spending money!
Really hope we have Peter Pan on our tour - my kids are crazy for PP and Tink!

I just found out about this & want to surprise the family pixiedust:

Quick question, are they using my CC to reserve or to charge?

You will be paying for the tour at the time of booking.
