i am hoping and praying that they sort it out by next tuesday, all flights to paris are effected and other flights as well, hopefully it is a 1 day thing, but you know what they are like, will be listening out for the news now.

I think it was only a one day strike action so you should be OK, fingers crossed and a little bit of magic
Not wanting to be a harbinger of doom but,
If by any chance there is industrial action on the day of your flight, check whether the other transport unions are coming out in support. I only say this because it happened to us in 2004 and we had to wait around for hours for the transfer coach. It was absolutely freezing and snowing - as I'd anticipated getting off the plane and almost straight onto a coach we weren't very well prepared clothes wise and didn't dare go back into the airport to change for fear that the coaches would arrive and we'd miss our place, there were loads of us stuck waiting.
We left Bristol at 7.00 am for the 40 minute flight and didn't arrive at our hotel until 3.30 in the afternoon - It's the main reason we chose Eurostar for the follow up trips.

thaks, now looks like the weather may damn things, heavy snow tonight, monday and maybe tuesday?? hopefully not, but as i speak its snowing hard.
